T19n0997_p0571c17:爾時,會中摩伽陀國主阿闍世王即從座起,
T19n0997_p0571c18:偏袒右肩,右膝著地,合掌恭敬,頂禮佛足而
T19n0997_p0571c19:白佛言:「世尊如來今在菩提樹下我之國土
T19n0997_p0571c20:說陀羅尼及曼荼羅,既有如是無量功德,何
T19n0997_p0571c21:以摩伽陀國風雨不節、旱澇不調、饑饉相仍、
T19n0997_p0571c22:[6]怨敵侵擾、疾疫災難無量百千?[7]唯願世尊
T19n0997_p0571c23:斷我疑網。」
T19n0997_p0571c24:爾時,世尊讚阿闍世作如是言:「大王!善哉善
T19n0997_p0571c25:哉,快問斯義,於未來世能多利益一切眾生。
T19n0997_p0571c26:大王!諦聽諦聽,善思念之,吾當為汝分別解
T19n0997_p0571c27:說。
「大王!如王所言,於我國中[8]常有飢饉、[*]怨
T19n0997_p0571c28:敵等者,此守護國界主陀羅尼以十六俱胝
T19n0997_p0571c29:那由他陀羅尼而為眷屬、此大金剛城曼荼
T19n0997_p0572a01:羅[1]三千五百曼荼羅以為眷屬,然彼一切皆
T19n0997_p0572a02:以信心而為根本、以深般若而為先導、大菩
T19n0997_p0572a03:提心及大悲心以為莊嚴。
「大王!一切善法皆
T19n0997_p0572a04:悉從此陀羅尼生;一切罪惡,不信因果以為
T19n0997_p0572a05:根本。大王!汝今不信因果,耽五欲樂,如大猛
T19n0997_p0572a06:風吹其信心及菩提心,大悲總持悉皆遠逝。
T19n0997_p0572a07:「大王今者雖有眼耳,如聾盲人不聞雷霆、不
T19n0997_p0572a08:見日月。何以故?汝王名字尚不自聞,況於餘
T19n0997_p0572a09:聲?何謂王名?夫言王者,即囉惹義。囉字聲者,
T19n0997_p0572a10:所謂苦惱聲、啼哭、愁歎、無主、無歸、無救護聲,
T19n0997_p0572a11:王當慰喻,作如是言:『汝莫苦惱,我為汝主,當
T19n0997_p0572a12:救護汝。』拭淚慈愍而撫育之。言惹字聲者,是
T19n0997_p0572a13:最勝義、是富貴義、是自在義、是殊勝義、是勇
T19n0997_p0572a14:猛義、是端正義、是智慧義、是能摧滅一切眾
T19n0997_p0572a15:生憍慢、自高、[2]陵[3]篾他義。
「大王!汝於今者不
T19n0997_p0572a16:信因果,親近惡友提婆達多,殺所生父,囚繫
T19n0997_p0572a17:飢餓,渴乏不死而刖其足,復令調達出佛身
T19n0997_p0572a18:血,破和合僧,復放護財狂醉惡象暴踐如來。
T19n0997_p0572a19:「大王!汝今復有極大重罪,所謂挑壞一切眾
T19n0997_p0572a20:生清淨法眼,斷滅諸佛真正之法關,閉人天
T19n0997_p0572a21:涅槃之門,開示三塗生死惡趣。所以者何?汝
T19n0997_p0572a22:是國王,出遊園苑嚴備象駕一萬、二萬,[4]巾
T19n0997_p0572a23:馭車[5]馬二、三十萬以為翊從,復以百姓所有
T19n0997_p0572a24:膏血用塗象馬。」
時阿闍世王聞此語[6]已,而白
T19n0997_p0572a25:佛言:「世尊!我今惟忖,不省曾以百姓膏血用
T19n0997_p0572a26:塗象馬,世尊何以作如是說?」
佛言:「大王!王之
T19n0997_p0572a27:象馬一一皆以欝金、龍腦、栴檀、沈麝和為香
T19n0997_p0572a28:埿用塗象馬,如是等香皆出百姓,徵科百姓
T19n0997_p0572a29:如壓油麻,貧匱困苦,千戶資財不能充給一
T19n0997_p0572b01:象之費。是故當知:百姓膏血甚為易得,如是
T19n0997_p0572b02:香等求之甚難。大王若疑,當自巡按一切囹
T19n0997_p0572b03:圄,萬姓受苦過大地獄,大王逼奪百姓所有
T19n0997_p0572b04:資財[7]賞賜豪貴,遂令富者日益奢侈、貧乏
T19n0997_p0572b05:之者轉益貧窮,令諸貧人孤惸困苦,投足無
T19n0997_p0572b06:地,皆求出家。
「如是之人無有和上及阿闍梨,
T19n0997_p0572b07:自[8]被袈裟,不受禁戒,無法自居,令諸有情心
T19n0997_p0572b08:生輕賤,不欲見聞,[9]固是大王挑其法眼、斷滅
T19n0997_p0572b09:佛法、閉人天路、開惡趣門。是故我言大王不
T19n0997_p0572b10:聞自己名字,以是因緣,如何更得此陀羅尼
T19n0997_p0572b11:神力加護?
「大王![10]我今當說古昔因緣,王當諦
T19n0997_p0572b12:思,解了其義。大王!乃往古世有佛出現名迦
T19n0997_p0572b13:葉波如來、應供、正遍知、明行足、善逝、世間解、無
T19n0997_p0572b14:上士、調御丈夫、天人師、佛、世尊。彼佛說法,初
T19n0997_p0572b15:善、中善、後善,開示梵行。彼時有王名訖哩[11]枳,
T19n0997_p0572b16:於彼如來深生淨信。王於中夜得二種夢:一
T19n0997_p0572b17:者、夢見有十獼猴,其九獼猴攝亂城中一切
T19n0997_p0572b18:人民、妻妾、男女,侵奪飲食,破壞什物,仍以不
T19n0997_p0572b19:淨而穢污之,唯一獼猴心懷知足,安坐樹上,
T19n0997_p0572b20:不擾居人。時九獼猴同心惱亂此知足者,作
T19n0997_p0572b21:諸留難,驅逐出於獼猴眾會。第二夢者、見[12]一
T19n0997_p0572b22:白象猶如大山,當帝王門,首尾有口,皆食水
T19n0997_p0572b23:草,雖恒飲噉,身常羸瘦。
「時王寤已,生大恐怖,
T19n0997_p0572b24:召占相者以原其夢。占者白王:『九獼猴者即
T19n0997_p0572b25:是九王,其知足者即是大王,是則九王同心
T19n0997_p0572b26:篡奪大王寶位。象二口者,即是九王食自國邑
T19n0997_p0572b27:兼食王國。』王聞此語,[13]驚怖毛竪而心未決,思
T19n0997_p0572b28:欲見佛以斷所疑,即勅左右嚴備種種供養
T19n0997_p0572b29:之具,一心往詣迦葉佛所。到[*]已作禮,持諸供
T19n0997_p0572c01:具上獻如來,曲躬合掌而白佛言:『世尊!我於
T19n0997_p0572c02:昨夜得不善夢,[*]唯願世尊為我解說,使斷疑
T19n0997_p0572c03:網。』時王具陳所夢白佛。
「佛言:『大王!王之所夢
T19n0997_p0572c04:不在於王,勿生憂懼,王善諦聽,當為[14]王說。此
T19n0997_p0572c05:是未來五濁惡世有佛出現,號釋迦牟尼,滅
T19n0997_p0572c06:度之後遺法之相。大王!十獼猴者,即是彼佛
T19n0997_p0572c07:十種弟子。』王白佛言:『世尊!何名彼佛十種弟
T19n0997_p0572c08:子?』迦葉佛言:『一、貧畏不活而作沙門,二、奴有
T19n0997_p0572c09:怖畏而作沙門,三、怖畏債負而作沙門,四、求
T19n0997_p0572c10:佛法過失而作沙門,五、為勝他而作沙門,六、
T19n0997_p0572c11:為名稱而作沙門,七、為生天而作沙門,八、為
T19n0997_p0572c12:利養而作沙門,九、為欲求未來王位而作沙
T19n0997_p0572c13:門,十、真實心而作沙門。』
「時彼大王白彼佛言:
T19n0997_p0572c14:『世尊!此十沙門其相云何?』彼佛答言:『大王!貧畏
T19n0997_p0572c15:不活作沙門者,多有眾生不信因果,貪求財
T19n0997_p0572c16:寶,互相侵奪,遂感天地雨澤不時、五穀不登、
T19n0997_p0572c17:不充官稅,飢貧所逼,鬻賣男女,無所投寄,披
T19n0997_p0572c18:挂遺棄樹上袈裟,自剃鬚髮作沙門像,無阿
T19n0997_p0572c19:闍梨、亦無和上,無戒、無法,相似沙門,長時受
T19n0997_p0572c20:行一切惡法,入僧伽藍自稱:「我是律師、禪師、
T19n0997_p0572c21:法師、大德。」坐居眾首,謂餘僧言:「汝等皆是我
T19n0997_p0572c22:之弟子。」於清信士、族姓長者、婆羅門家出入
T19n0997_p0572c23:遊從,多造過失,是名第一貧畏不活而作沙
T19n0997_p0572c24:門。
「『大王!云何名為奴有怖畏而作沙門?[15]謂下
T19n0997_p0572c25:賤奴婢作是思惟:「云何一生受他驅策?」逃竄
T19n0997_p0572c26:出家,是為第二。
「『大王!云何名為怖畏債負而作
T19n0997_p0572c27:沙門?謂有眾生公私債負,息利既多,酬還不
T19n0997_p0572c28:遂,既被逼迫,逃逝出家,是為第三。
「『大王!云何
T19n0997_p0572c29:名為求佛法過失而作沙門?謂諸外道心生
T19n0997_p0573a01:嫉妬,遂共集議:「誰有聰明利根辯慧?入佛法
T19n0997_p0573a02:中學彼所有世、出世法,窺其是非,還歸我眾。
T19n0997_p0573a03:對於國王、大臣、長者[1]樹論議幢,出其過失,摧
T19n0997_p0573a04:壞破滅彼佛正法。」是名第四。
「『大王!云何名為
T19n0997_p0573a05:求勝他故而作沙門?[*]謂或有眾生聞有某甲
T19n0997_p0573a06:披衣落髮,多有伎能,通達三藏,心生熱惱,便
T19n0997_p0573a07:即出家學經律論,所修善法皆欲勝彼,是名
T19n0997_p0573a08:第五。
「『大王!云何名為為名稱故而作沙門?謂
T19n0997_p0573a09:或有人竊自思惟:「我若在家,無有名稱。我應
T19n0997_p0573a10:剃落,披衣出家,勤學多聞,受持禁戒,於大眾
T19n0997_p0573a11:中坐禪入定,使物知名。」是為第六。
「『大王!云何
T19n0997_p0573a12:名為求生天故而作沙門?謂或有人聞[2]諸天
T19n0997_p0573a13:中長壽快樂,我無方便而得上生,遂即剃髮
T19n0997_p0573a14:染衣出家,修持善法皆願生天,是為第七。
「『大
T19n0997_p0573a15:王!云何名為為利養故而作沙門?謂或有人
T19n0997_p0573a16:先有財寶,更求勝處,得好精舍、房院、華飾可
T19n0997_p0573a17:以棲遲,受用自他所有財產,是名第八。
「『大王!
T19n0997_p0573a18:云何名為欲求未來帝王位故而作沙門?謂有
T19n0997_p0573a19:眾生見於國王自在尊崇,富貴安樂,便生愛
T19n0997_p0573a20:樂,遂求出家,所修善根惟願當生得居王位,
T19n0997_p0573a21:是名第九。
「『大王!云何名為真實心故而作沙
T19n0997_p0573a22:門?謂有眾生雖生剎利大臣、族姓婆羅門家、
T19n0997_p0573a23:或生長者、居士、商主、富貴之家,盛年美貌,觀
T19n0997_p0573a24:諸財色、富貴、榮顯猶若浮雲、泡幻、電光,生滅
T19n0997_p0573a25:不住,遂起厭離,發菩提心,親友珍財一切皆
T19n0997_p0573a26:捨,出家慕道,秉持律儀,學法修禪精勤匪懈,
T19n0997_p0573a27:凡有所作皆為眾生,[*]唯求無上菩提之果,是
T19n0997_p0573a28:名第十,真實心故而作沙門。
「『大王當知:如王
T19n0997_p0573a29:所夢,見一獼猴少欲知足,獨處樹上不擾人
T19n0997_p0573b01:者,即是釋迦如來遺法之中真實沙門;其九
T19n0997_p0573b02:獼猴擾亂眾人,同心驅擯一獼猴者,即是釋
T19n0997_p0573b03:迦如來遺法之中前九沙門。無沙門法故,總
T19n0997_p0573b04:名為相似沙門,同行惡行,共驅於一真實沙
T19n0997_p0573b05:門出於眾外。
「『大王!此惡沙門破戒行惡,污穢
T19n0997_p0573b06:一切族姓之家,向於國王、大臣、官長論說毀
T19n0997_p0573b07:謗真實沙門,橫言是非,云:「是惡人破戒[3]行惡。
T19n0997_p0573b08:不合與我持戒比丘同共止住布薩說戒,亦
T19n0997_p0573b09:不合同居一寺舍、同一國邑。」一切惡事皆推
T19n0997_p0573b10:與彼真實沙門,蒙蔽國王、大臣、官長,遂令驅
T19n0997_p0573b11:逐真實沙門盡出國界。其破戒者自在遊行,
T19n0997_p0573b12:而與國王大臣官長共為親厚。
「『大王!彼釋迦
T19n0997_p0573b13:牟尼如來所有教法,一切天、魔、外道、惡人、五
T19n0997_p0573b14:通神仙皆不[4]能[5]壞乃至少分,而此名相諸
T19n0997_p0573b15:惡沙門皆悉毀滅,令無有餘。如須彌山,假使
T19n0997_p0573b16:盡於三千界中草木為薪長時焚燒,一毫無
T19n0997_p0573b17:損;若劫火起,火從內生,須更燒滅,無餘灰燼。』
T19n0997_p0573b18:「爾時,迦葉波佛為訖哩枳王重說偈言:

T19n0997_p0573c14:羸瘦者,亦非王事。即是釋迦如來遺法之中
T19n0997_p0573c15:五濁惡世不信因果百官令長,上受帝王光
T19n0997_p0573c16:寵榮祿,下於百姓非理追求,雖復貪求而多
T19n0997_p0573c17:匱乏,賦稅無度,萬[10]民貧窮,貿易子孫,家業蕩
T19n0997_p0573c18:盡。投寺剃落,寺復荒蕪,多惡比丘發心無地,
T19n0997_p0573c19:遂投外道路伽耶等斷常諸見異學出家,邪
T19n0997_p0573c20:見因緣,師徒皆墮自入地獄。復與多人開地
T19n0997_p0573c21:獄門,相引奔馳趣三惡道,閉人天路,解脫
T19n0997_p0573c22:無由。大王當知:故此二夢並是釋迦如來遺
T19n0997_p0573c23:法之相,非干王事。』
「訖哩枳王聞此說已,永斷
T19n0997_p0573c24:疑網,歡喜踊躍,復以種種上妙供具恭敬供
T19n0997_p0573c25:養迦葉如來,頂禮佛足,右遶而退。」
T19n0997_p0573c26:爾時,釋迦如來說此語已,摩揭陀國主阿闍世
T19n0997_p0573c27:王復白佛言:「世尊!如佛所言,諸惡眾生入於
T19n0997_p0573c28:地獄,云何得知?誰人曾見?復云何知當墮餓
T19n0997_p0573c29:鬼、及與畜生、當生人天?並誰人見?」
爾時,世尊
T19n0997_p0574a01:告阿闍世言:「大王!應當一心諦聽,我為王說,
T19n0997_p0574a02:令王現前而得知見。大王當知:若人命終當
T19n0997_p0574a03:墮地獄有十五相,當生餓鬼有八種相,當生
T19n0997_p0574a04:畜生有五種相,當生人天各有十相。
「大王!何
T19n0997_p0574a05:等名為當生地獄十五種相?一者、[1]於自夫妻
T19n0997_p0574a06:男女眷屬惡眼瞻視,二者、舉其兩手捫摹虛
T19n0997_p0574a07:空,三者、善知識教不相隨順,四者、悲號、啼泣、
T19n0997_p0574a08:嗚咽、流淚,五者、大小便利不覺不知,六者、閉
T19n0997_p0574a09:目不開,七者、常覆頭面,八者、側臥飲噉,九者、
T19n0997_p0574a10:身口臭穢,十者、脚膝[2]戰掉,十一、鼻梁欹側,
T19n0997_p0574a11:十二、左眼瞤動,十三、兩目變赤,十四、仆面而
T19n0997_p0574a12:臥,十五、踡身左脇著地而臥。大王當知:若有
T19n0997_p0574a13:臨終具十五相,如是眾生決定當生阿鼻地
T19n0997_p0574a14:獄。
「大王當知:若復有人臨命終時有八種相,
T19n0997_p0574a15:當知必墮焰摩羅界餓鬼趣中。云何為八?一
T19n0997_p0574a16:者、好舐其脣;二者、身熱如火;三者、常患飢渴,
T19n0997_p0574a17:好說飲食;四者、張口不合;五者、兩目乾枯如
T19n0997_p0574a18:鵰、孔雀;六者、無有小便,大便遺漏;七者、右膝
T19n0997_p0574a19:先冷;八者、右手常拳。何以故?心懷慳悋,乃至
T19n0997_p0574a20:於水不與人故。大王!若具八相,命終決定生
T19n0997_p0574a21:餓鬼中。
「大王當知:若復有人臨命終時有五
T19n0997_p0574a22:相現,是人決定墮畜生趣。云何為五?一者、愛
T19n0997_p0574a23:[3]染妻子,貪視不捨;二者、踡手足指;三者、遍體
T19n0997_p0574a24:流汗;四者、出麁澁聲;五者、口中咀沫。大王!若
T19n0997_p0574a25:具此五[4]者,命終決定墮畜生趣。
「大王當知:若
T19n0997_p0574a26:復有人臨命終時有十相現,是人決定生人
T19n0997_p0574a27:趣中。云何為十?一者、臨終生於善念,謂生柔
T19n0997_p0574a28:軟心、福德心、微妙心、歡喜心、發起心、無憂心;二
T19n0997_p0574a29:者、身無痛苦;三者、少能似語,一心憶念所生
T19n0997_p0574b01:父母;四者、於妻子男女作憐愍心,如常瞻視,
T19n0997_p0574b02:無愛、無恚,耳欲聞於兄弟姊妹、親識姓名;五
T19n0997_p0574b03:者、於善、於惡,心不錯亂;六者、其心正直,無有諂
T19n0997_p0574b04:誑;七者、知於父母、親友、眷屬善護念我;八者、
T19n0997_p0574b05:見所營理心生讚歎;九者、遺囑、家事、藏舉財
T19n0997_p0574b06:寶,示之令出;十者、起[5]淨信心,請佛法僧對面
T19n0997_p0574b07:歸敬,言:『南謨佛陀,南謨達摩,南謨僧伽,我今
T19n0997_p0574b08:歸依。若無佛世,歸五通仙。』大王!若臨命終具
T19n0997_p0574b09:此十相,決定得於人趣中生。
「大王當知:若復
T19n0997_p0574b10:有人臨命終時有十種相定得生天。云何為
T19n0997_p0574b11:十?一者、起憐愍心;二者、發起善心;三者、起歡
T19n0997_p0574b12:喜心;四者、正念現前;五者、無諸臭穢;六者、鼻
T19n0997_p0574b13:無欹側;七者、心無恚怒;八者、於家、財寶、妻子、
T19n0997_p0574b14:眷屬心無愛戀;九者、眼色清淨;十者、仰面含
T19n0997_p0574b15:笑,想念天宮當來迎我。若臨命終具此十相,
T19n0997_p0574b16:決定生天。
「大王!如是臨終善惡之相汝應當
T19n0997_p0574b17:知。」
時阿闍世王聞佛說已,竊自思念:「如來此
T19n0997_p0574b18:說,為是實事?為是[6]虛邪?世尊具足辯才,權說
T19n0997_p0574b19:此理。」
爾時,如來知阿闍世王心之所念,即以
T19n0997_p0574b20:神力令阿闍世見其惡相——忽有地獄,苦器充
T19n0997_p0574b21:滿,有諸獄卒執持苦具,無量眾生顛墜地獄
T19n0997_p0574b22:如駛雨點。爾時,獄卒瞋目振威,指阿闍世而
T19n0997_p0574b23:作是言:「此是惡逆殺父之人,速當擒來,付於
T19n0997_p0574b24:阿鼻大地獄中而苦治之。」時阿闍世聞是語
T19n0997_p0574b25:已,極大惶怖,身毛皆竪,遍體汗流,遽從座起,
T19n0997_p0574b26:走欲逃竄,悶絕[7]擗地都不覺知。譬如猛風
T19n0997_p0574b27:伐無根樹,久而不蘇,乃以種種方宜救之漸
T19n0997_p0574b28:得蘇息,連聲唱言:「世尊!世尊!願賜壽命,願賜
T19n0997_p0574b29:壽命,[8]願賜壽命。如我今日無依無怙,從今決
T19n0997_p0574c01:定歸佛法僧。」
於是如來還攝神力,諸相不現,
T19n0997_p0574c02:問阿闍世言:「大王!向見入地獄者諸苦事耶?」
T19n0997_p0574c03:時阿闍世含悲答言:「我今已見,世尊所說舉
T19n0997_p0574c04:其少分,我向所見苦事甚多,如來世尊是真
T19n0997_p0574c05:語者、是實語者。世尊!我於此身造諸惡業,今
T19n0997_p0574c06:對世尊、諸大菩薩、眾僧大會發露懺悔,止息
T19n0997_p0574c07:諸惡,斷相續心,我從今日乃至菩提誓持五
T19n0997_p0574c08:戒,為優婆塞。如佛所說一字陀羅尼一切功
T19n0997_p0574c09:能,以菩提心而為先導,從今向去一日三時
T19n0997_p0574c10:精勤修習,以此善根悉皆迴向一切眾生。」
佛
T19n0997_p0574c11:讚王言:「善哉,善哉!大王諦聽,我今為王說過
T19n0997_p0574c12:去佛微妙伽[9]陀。」
即說偈言:
T19n0997_p0574c13:T19n0997_p0574c15:佛說偈已,復告王言:「大王當知:譬如團鐵,投
T19n0997_p0574c16:水沈沒;若為鉢器,置水則浮。大王!有智慧人
T19n0997_p0574c17:如彼鉢器,不沈苦海。汝造惡業,合入阿鼻大
T19n0997_p0574c18:地獄中一劫受苦,由汝有智發露懺悔,暫入
T19n0997_p0574c19:便出,如壯男女以手拍毬,暫時著地即便騰
T19n0997_p0574c20:起,從此命終生兜率天,見慈氏尊便得授記。」
T19n0997_p0574c21:時阿闍世聞佛說已,心得淨信,以種種供具
T19n0997_p0574c22:供養佛已還復本座。
當於如來說此法時,無
T19n0997_p0574c23:數俱胝那由他眾生皆發阿耨多羅三藐三
T19n0997_p0574c24:菩提心,三十三俱胝那由他菩薩得隨順忍。
[10]守護國界主陀羅尼經如來囑累品第十

T19n0997_p0574c27:爾時,文殊師利菩薩摩訶薩白佛言:「希有,世
T19n0997_p0574c28:尊!希有,善逝!世尊說此陀羅尼門即是諸佛
T19n0997_p0574c29:決定最勝妙陀羅尼,以無邊量名句字門宣
T19n0997_p0575a01:說趣入無邊義理。其義深遠,隨順覺悟因緣

T19n0997_p0575a10:法,具足四種無礙智故;身心普遍,能得廣大
T19n0997_p0575a11:諸神通故;平等覺法,安住一乘教法中故;
T19n0997_p0575a12:[2]無無異行,入如虛空平等性故;亦無平等,
T19n0997_p0575a13:於一切處無有對故;是無等等,一切無等,唯
T19n0997_p0575a14:與諸佛如來等故;遠離二相,出生諸法寂滅
T19n0997_p0575a15:體故;諦觀文字,為欲安立一切法故;非言能
T19n0997_p0575a16:說,即是真實勝義諦故;不礙宣說,普能隨順
T19n0997_p0575a17:世俗諦故。能出生三寶、能廣大三乘、能開三
T19n0997_p0575a18:脫門、能超出三界、能善覺三智、能生如來金
T19n0997_p0575a19:剛三昧,是一切法之所住處、是一切佛智慧
T19n0997_p0575a20:之門,普能養育一切眾生。
「世尊!諸善男子、善
T19n0997_p0575a21:女人等應當於此世尊無量三密一字陀羅
T19n0997_p0575a22:尼門發阿耨多羅三藐三菩提心,若聞此法
T19n0997_p0575a23:所有義理,應當信受、應當書寫、應當讀誦、應
T19n0997_p0575a24:當修習、應當為人開示宣說。世尊!若能如是,
T19n0997_p0575a25:乃至一偈、一句、一字,如是之人得福無量,是
T19n0997_p0575a26:則名為知佛恩者,是念佛恩、是報佛恩。」
爾時,
T19n0997_p0575a27:世尊讚文殊師利言:「善哉,善哉!善男[A1]子!如汝
T19n0997_p0575a28:所說,如是之人所得福德不可稱量。善男子!
T19n0997_p0575a29:佛眼所見一切佛剎,假使有人以一切寶充
T19n0997_p0575b01:滿其中持用奉施一切如來,所得功德無量
T19n0997_p0575b02:無邊。若復有人能聽此經一字、一句,或生信
T19n0997_p0575b03:樂、或能受持、或復書寫、或當讀誦、或正修習、
T19n0997_p0575b04:或廣為人演暢宣說,行住坐臥常勤精進,為
T19n0997_p0575b05:令妙法久住世間、為令三寶不斷絕故,此人
T19n0997_p0575b06:福德勝前布施諸佛福德。」
爾時,世尊欲重宣
T19n0997_p0575b07:此義而說偈言:

T19n0997_p0575c03:經,此大眾中誰能發起大勇猛心,為大丈夫,
T19n0997_p0575c04:能於如來般涅槃後受持讀誦、廣宣流布,令
T19n0997_p0575c05:此妙法久住於世?」
爾時,眾中七十俱胝菩薩
T19n0997_p0575c06:摩訶薩皆從座起,恭敬合掌,異口同音而白
T19n0997_p0575c07:佛言:「世尊!我等能於如來滅後受持於此佛
T19n0997_p0575c08:無數劫勤求修習成就菩提祕密一字陀羅尼
T19n0997_p0575c09:經,廣宣流布,令五濁世一切眾生聞此法門,
T19n0997_p0575c10:心得淨信,恭敬尊重,種諸善根,[*]唯願如來神
T19n0997_p0575c11:力加被。」
爾時,世尊一切種智告諸菩薩摩訶
T19n0997_p0575c12:薩言:「善哉,善哉!汝等乃能發斯大願,我今當
T19n0997_p0575c13:以威神之力護持此經。」
而說偈言:

T19n0997_p0576c01:經者,作如是言:「善哉,善哉!汝等真是勇猛丈
T19n0997_p0576c02:夫,為令妙法得久住故能作如是大獅子吼。
T19n0997_p0576c03:「諸善男子當聽我說:若諸眾生修行大乘未
T19n0997_p0576c04:得法忍,以佛神力受持此經精勤修習,次後
T19n0997_p0576c05:佛所即得授記。如是,或二、或三、不過七佛,必
T19n0997_p0576c06:定當得阿耨多羅三藐三菩提記。若聲聞乘種
T19n0997_p0576c07:[4]姓眾生得聞此經,於慈氏佛龍華第一聲聞
T19n0997_p0576c08:會中當為最上第一聲聞;若緣覺乘種性眾
T19n0997_p0576c09:生得聞此經,受持修習,我涅槃後更不聞法,
T19n0997_p0576c10:必當得成獨覺菩提。」
佛說此《守護國界[5]主陀
T19n0997_p0576c11:羅尼經》時,無量無數種種眾生發阿耨多羅
T19n0997_p0576c12:三藐三菩提心,無數菩薩住不退地,無數世
T19n0997_p0576c13:界六種震動,日月光明所不能照幽闇之處
T19n0997_p0576c14:而皆大明,雨眾天花繽紛亂墜。
十方國土諸
T19n0997_p0576c15:來菩薩在此會者為供養佛及此經故,於菩
T19n0997_p0576c16:提樹道場四面各四由旬以種種寶、眾妙雜
T19n0997_p0576c17:花莊嚴其地,異口同音而白佛言:「世尊!我等
T19n0997_p0576c18:今日得大利益,不空而還,得聞於此決定最
T19n0997_p0576c19:勝微妙經典,[*]唯願世尊釋迦牟尼長延壽命,
T19n0997_p0576c20:願令此經久住不滅,於閻浮提一切國土作
T19n0997_p0576c21:大利益。世尊!若比丘、比丘尼、優婆塞、優婆夷、
T19n0997_p0576c22:國王、大臣、一切人民受持此經,[6]除諸病苦,壽
T19n0997_p0576c23:命長遠,普能利樂一切眾生。」
T19n0997_p0576c24:爾時,文殊師利菩薩白佛言:「希有,世尊!希有,世
T19n0997_p0576c25:尊!如是決定最勝經典,言詞微妙,文字句義
T19n0997_p0576c26:莊嚴圓滿,能令一切菩薩大眾生歡喜心,摧
T19n0997_p0576c27:伏一切諸魔外道,善能任持一切法門,能令
T19n0997_p0576c28:一切眾生歡喜,是能出生一切乘道,隨順趣
T19n0997_p0576c29:入一切如來功德大海。若有能於如是經典
T19n0997_p0577a01:精勤宣示,一切不空。」
復白佛言:「世尊!當何名
T19n0997_p0577a02:此經?我等云何奉持?」
佛告文殊師利菩薩摩
T19n0997_p0577a03:訶薩言:「此經具有一千名字,所謂名為『毘盧
T19n0997_p0577a04:遮那廣大三密甚深一字經』、亦名『三界最尊
T19n0997_p0577a05:勝經』、亦名『如來說大悲門』、亦名『聞如來法不
T19n0997_p0577a06:空得記』、亦名『如來微妙法藏』、亦名『如來妙究
T19n0997_p0577a07:竟果』、亦名『如來微妙法眼』、亦名『普照諸法寶
T19n0997_p0577a08:炬』、亦名『能斷一切邪見』、亦名『顯示諸法平等』……,
T19n0997_p0577a09:有如是等一千名字。」
時文殊師利復白佛言:
T19n0997_p0577a10:「世尊!如是名中雖皆甚深,[*]唯願如來為我決
T19n0997_p0577a11:定,說一名字令我奉持。」
佛言:「善男子!此經決
T19n0997_p0577a12:定應名『守護國界主陀羅尼』,以是名字,汝當
T19n0997_p0577a13:奉持。所以者何?以一千名依此生故。」
爾時,世
T19n0997_p0577a14:尊說此經已,一切世間天、人、阿修羅、乾闥婆……
T19n0997_p0577a15:等無量大眾,聞佛所說皆大歡喜,信受奉行。
