T03n0187_p0605b09:爾時佛告諸比丘:「如來所作已辦,棄捨重
T03n0187_p0605b10:擔,拔煩惱根,淨諸塵垢,摧滅外道,降伏魔
T03n0187_p0605b11:軍,入佛甚深微妙之理,已得知見,成就十
T03n0187_p0605b12:力、四無所畏、十八不共,一切佛法無不具足,
T03n0187_p0605b13:五眼清淨觀察世間。作是思惟:『誰應最初
T03n0187_p0605b14:堪受我法?根性淳熟易可調柔,於所聞義
T03n0187_p0605b15:速能開悟,清淨離染薄貪瞋癡,於我所說
T03n0187_p0605b16:而無忽忘,能令示教不生劬勞,若有所聞
T03n0187_p0605b17:永無退失?』作是念已,觀彼外道羅摩之子
T03n0187_p0605b18:聰明有智,雖具煩惱三垢微薄。『若聞我法
T03n0187_p0605b19:速能證知,彼得非想非非想定,常為弟子
T03n0187_p0605b20:演說修習,今在何處?』以佛眼觀,見其命終
T03n0187_p0605b21:已經七日。時有諸天頂禮我足而白我言:
T03n0187_p0605b22:『世尊!彼人命終經於七日。如來為菩薩時,
T03n0187_p0605b23:已能先知如來有大智力,其人若不命終
T03n0187_p0605b24:堪受正法。』」
復告諸比丘:「彼羅摩子不聞我
T03n0187_p0605b25:法,遂便命終,若不命終我當最初為其說
T03n0187_p0605b26:法,彼若聞已即能證知。
T03n0187_p0605b27:「爾時世尊復作是念:『誰應最初堪受我法?
T03n0187_p0605b28:根性淳熟易可調柔,於所聞法速能開悟,
T03n0187_p0605b29:清淨離染薄貪瞋癡,於我所說而無忽忘,
T03n0187_p0605c01:能令示教不生劬勞,若有所聞永無退失?』
T03n0187_p0605c02:作是念已,觀彼外道阿羅邏仙[9]人聰明有
T03n0187_p0605c03:智,雖具煩惱三垢微薄。『若聞我法速能證
T03n0187_p0605c04:知,今為所在?』以佛眼觀,見其命終已經三
T03n0187_p0605c05:日。又於是時虛空諸天作如是言:『彼仙命
T03n0187_p0605c06:終經於三日,如來為菩薩時,已能先知如
T03n0187_p0605c07:來有大智力,其人若不命終堪受正法。』
「復
T03n0187_p0605c08:告諸比丘:『彼阿羅邏不聞我法遂便命終,
T03n0187_p0605c09:若不命終,我當最初為其說法,彼若聞已
T03n0187_p0605c10:即能證知。』爾時世尊復作是念:『誰應最初
T03n0187_p0605c11:堪受我法?根性淳熟易可調柔,於所聞法
T03n0187_p0605c12:速能開悟,清淨離染薄貪瞋癡,於我所說
T03n0187_p0605c13:而無忽忘,能令示教不生劬勞,若有所聞
T03n0187_p0605c14:永無退失?』作是念已,觀見五跋陀羅,根性
T03n0187_p0605c15:已熟易可調柔。『於所聞法必能開悟,清淨
T03n0187_p0605c16:離染三垢微薄,於我所說而無忽忘,能令
T03n0187_p0605c17:示教不生劬勞;若不於我得聞正法,復
T03n0187_p0605c18:當退失。我昔苦行之時謹心事我,我當最
T03n0187_p0605c19:初為彼五人轉正法輪,彼能了知,具足施
T03n0187_p0605c20:戒善法圓滿,解脫現前離諸障礙。』即以佛
T03n0187_p0605c21:眼觀見五跋陀羅,在波羅奈鹿野苑中。」
T03n0187_p0605c22:佛告諸比丘:「爾時如來作是念已,從菩提
T03n0187_p0605c23:樹向迦尸[10]國波羅奈城,[11]振動三千大千世
T03n0187_p0605c24:界。是時伽耶城傍有一外道,名[12]阿字婆,遙
T03n0187_p0605c25:見世尊即前問訊,在一面立而白佛言:『長
T03n0187_p0605c26:老瞿曇!諸根恬靜端正可愛,身色晃耀如閻
T03n0187_p0605c27:浮金及詹波花。仁者!修何梵行?師為是誰?
T03n0187_p0605c28:從誰出家?進止威儀安隱乃爾。今從何來?
T03n0187_p0605c29:復何所往?』
T03n0187_p0606a01:「爾時世尊,以偈答曰:
T03n0187_p0606a02:T03n0187_p0606a04:「阿字婆言:『瞿曇!汝自謂是阿羅漢耶?』爾時
T03n0187_p0606a05:世尊,重以偈答:
T03n0187_p0606a06:T03n0187_p0606a08:「阿字婆言:『瞿曇!汝自謂為[2]佛耶?』如來答言:
T03n0187_p0606a09:『我於世間最為殊勝,滅除一切煩惱惡法,
T03n0187_p0606a10:我為正覺。』阿字婆言:『長老瞿曇!汝於今者
T03n0187_p0606a11:為何所往?』世尊答[3]言:『我今欲往波羅[4]奈
T03n0187_p0606a12:鹿野苑中,為諸盲冥眾生作大光明。』而說
T03n0187_p0606a13:偈言:
T03n0187_p0606a14:T03n0187_p0606a15:T03n0187_p0606a16: T03n0187_p0606a17:「時阿字婆辭佛南行。如來北逝經伽耶城,城
T03n0187_p0606a18:中有龍名曰[5]善見,明日設齋奉請如來。如
T03n0187_p0606a19:來食訖往[6]盧醯多婆蘇都村,次復至[7]多羅
T03n0187_p0606a20:聚落,次復經[8]娑羅村,如是遊歷,皆為長者
T03n0187_p0606a21:居士奉獻飲食,次第而行至恒河邊。是時
T03n0187_p0606a22:河水[9]瀑集平流彌岸,世尊欲[10]渡,問彼船
T03n0187_p0606a23:人,答言:『與我價直當相濟耳。』
T03n0187_p0606a24:「爾時世尊報船人言:『我無價直。』船人言:『若
T03n0187_p0606a25:無價直終不相濟。』如來爾時飛騰虛空達
T03n0187_p0606a26:于彼岸。船人見佛現是神通乃自責言:『我
T03n0187_p0606a27:無所識,云何不[*]渡如是聖人?』心生憂惱
T03n0187_p0606a28:悶絕躃地良久乃蘇,詣頻婆娑羅王具陳
T03n0187_p0606a29:所見。王聞是事即勅船人:『自今已往沙門
T03n0187_p0606b01:求濟勿受價直。』
T03n0187_p0606b02:「諸比丘!如來至波羅[11]奈,於晨朝時著衣持
T03n0187_p0606b03:鉢,入城乞食還至本處,[12]飯食訖詣鹿野苑
T03n0187_p0606b04:中。時五跋陀羅遙見世尊共相謂言:『沙門
T03n0187_p0606b05:瞿曇!放逸貪著不能持戒,欲斷煩惱尋復
T03n0187_p0606b06:退墮便失禪定,先修苦行尚無所能,何況
T03n0187_p0606b07:今日恣受美食安樂而住?是懈怠人明非道
T03n0187_p0606b08:器,我等今者不須敬問,敷置坐處[13]給水
T03n0187_p0606b09:洗足,施設[*]飯食一切莫為,隨其自來不
T03n0187_p0606b10:應為起,彼若欲坐當指卑座令其就坐。』
T03n0187_p0606b11:唯[14]阿若憍陳如不同眾心。爾時世尊漸近
T03n0187_p0606b12:五人所居之處,是時五人皆自不安,如鳥
T03n0187_p0606b13:在籠為火所逼。比丘當知!世間眾生無有
T03n0187_p0606b14:覩佛得安坐者。是時五人皆違本要,不覺
T03n0187_p0606b15:忽然俱起迎佛,或有敷置坐具,或有[15]給
T03n0187_p0606b16:水洗足,或有[16]撰履或有持衣,皆言:『善來,
T03n0187_p0606b17:長老瞿曇!請坐勝座。』爾時世尊坐彼座已,
T03n0187_p0606b18:五人於前禮拜問訊,[17]在一面立,而白佛言:
T03n0187_p0606b19:『長老瞿曇!面目端正諸根寂靜,身相光明如
T03n0187_p0606b20:閻浮金及詹波花,瞿曇!今者應證出世聖種
T03n0187_p0606b21:智耶?』
T03n0187_p0606b22:「爾時世尊語五人言:『汝等不應稱喚如來
T03n0187_p0606b23:為長老也,令汝長夜無所利益。』又語五
T03n0187_p0606b24:人:『我已證得甘露之法,我今能知向甘露
T03n0187_p0606b25:道,我即是佛具一切智,寂靜無漏心得自
T03n0187_p0606b26:在。汝等須來,當示汝法教授於汝,汝應聽
T03n0187_p0606b27:受如說修行,即於現身得盡諸漏,智慧明
T03n0187_p0606b28:了解脫而住,梵行成就,所作皆辦不受後有。』
T03n0187_p0606b29:又告五人:『汝昔嫌我俱作是言:「長老瞿曇
T03n0187_p0606c01:耽著世樂,不堅持戒欲斷煩惱便即退墮。」
T03n0187_p0606c02:我適近汝各自不安,是故當知不得稱呼
T03n0187_p0606c03:如來為長老也。』五跋陀羅俱白佛言:『世尊!
T03n0187_p0606c04:我今願得於佛法中而為沙門。』佛言:『善來
T03n0187_p0606c05:比丘!』鬚髮自落法服著身便成沙門,鬚髮長
T03n0187_p0606c06:短如剃經七日,威儀整肅如百臘比丘,即
T03n0187_p0606c07:從座起頂禮佛足懺悔先罪,即於如來為
T03n0187_p0606c08:大師想,尊重瞻仰生歡喜心。
T03n0187_p0606c09:「爾時世尊入池澡浴,浴訖復於一處靜坐思
T03n0187_p0606c10:惟:『過去諸佛當於何座而轉法輪?』作是念
T03n0187_p0606c11:時,忽於是處有千寶座從地涌出,如來爾
T03n0187_p0606c12:時從本座起,恭敬圍遶初三高座,至第四
T03n0187_p0606c13:座結[18]加趺坐。時五跋陀羅頂禮佛足坐於
T03n0187_p0606c14:佛前。諸比丘!爾時世尊放大光明,其光遍
T03n0187_p0606c15:照三千大千世界,於光明網中,而說頌曰:

T03n0187_p0607a08:千大千世界一切人天等眾,『汝可速來!今佛
T03n0187_p0607a09:世尊轉于法輪。』諸天龍等聞是語已,從其
T03n0187_p0607a10:本宮來詣佛所。爾時地神以神通力,令此
T03n0187_p0607a11:道場縱廣正等七百由旬,種種莊嚴周遍清
T03n0187_p0607a12:淨,虛空天神復將種種幢幡寶蓋以為嚴
T03n0187_p0607a13:飾,欲界色界諸天子等,將八萬四千寶師子
T03n0187_p0607a14:座置道場中,各自請言:『世尊!哀[*]慜我故,為
T03n0187_p0607a15:坐此座轉正法輪。』
T03n0187_p0607a16:「諸比丘!爾時東西南北四維上下十方剎土,
T03n0187_p0607a17:無量拘胝諸菩薩眾,宿植德本來至佛所,
T03n0187_p0607a18:頂禮佛足右繞三匝,合掌恭敬勸請如來
T03n0187_p0607a19:轉于法輪。十方三千大千世界,所有釋梵護
T03n0187_p0607a20:世及餘無量諸天子眾,皆悉頂禮佛足右繞
T03n0187_p0607a21:三匝合掌向佛,勸請如來轉于法輪。是諸
T03n0187_p0607a22:眾會咸作是言:『唯願世尊!利益安樂[*]慜念
T03n0187_p0607a23:諸眾生故,雨大法雨,建大法幢,吹大法
T03n0187_p0607a24:螺,擊大法鼓。』」
T03n0187_p0607a25:[1]佛告諸比丘:「爾時[2]眾中有一菩薩,名曰
T03n0187_p0607a26:[3]轉法,持眾寶輪備有千輻,莊嚴綺麗不
T03n0187_p0607a27:可稱比,放千光明。又以花鬘寶鈴微妙繒
T03n0187_p0607a28:綵無量寶具以為嚴飾。由是菩薩先願力
T03n0187_p0607a29:故,感此輪生,供養如來過去諸佛,皆有此
T03n0187_p0607b01:輪然後轉法。時彼菩薩持是輪寶,奉獻如
T03n0187_p0607b02:來而說偈言:
T03n0187_p0607b03:T03n0187_p0607b04:T03n0187_p0607b05:T03n0187_p0607b06:T03n0187_p0607b07:T03n0187_p0607b08:T03n0187_p0607b09:T03n0187_p0607b10:T03n0187_p0607b11:T03n0187_p0607b12: T03n0187_p0607b13:佛告諸比丘:「如來於初夜時默然而過,於
T03n0187_p0607b14:中夜分安慰大眾令生歡喜,至後夜已
T03n0187_p0607b15:喚五跋陀羅而告之言:『汝等應知!出家之
T03n0187_p0607b16:人有二種障。何等為二?一者心著欲境而
T03n0187_p0607b17:不能離,是下劣人無識凡愚非聖所行,不
T03n0187_p0607b18:應道理,非解脫因,非離欲因,非神通因,
T03n0187_p0607b19:非成佛因,非涅槃因。二者不正思惟,自苦
T03n0187_p0607b20:其身而求出離,過現未來皆受苦報。比丘!
T03n0187_p0607b21:汝等當捨如是二邊,我今為汝說於[4]中
T03n0187_p0607b22:道,汝應諦聽常勤修習。何謂中道?[5]正見、正
T03n0187_p0607b23:思惟、正語、正業、正命、正精進、正念、正定,如
T03n0187_p0607b24:是八法名為中道。』」
T03n0187_p0607b25:佛[6]告諸比丘:「有[7]四聖諦。何等為四?所謂
T03n0187_p0607b26:苦諦、苦集諦、苦滅諦、證苦滅道諦。比丘!何等
T03n0187_p0607b27:名為苦聖諦?所謂生苦、老苦、病苦、死苦、愛
T03n0187_p0607b28:別離苦、怨憎會苦、求不得苦、五盛蘊苦,如
T03n0187_p0607b29:是名為苦聖諦。何等名為苦集聖諦?所謂
T03n0187_p0607c01:愛取有喜與貪俱[8]悕求勝樂,如是名為苦
T03n0187_p0607c02:集聖諦。何等名為苦滅聖諦?所謂愛取有喜
T03n0187_p0607c03:與貪俱[*]悕求勝樂,盡此一切,如是名為
T03n0187_p0607c04:苦滅聖諦。何等名為證苦滅聖道諦?即[9]八
T03n0187_p0607c05:聖道,所謂正見乃至正定,此即名為證苦滅
T03n0187_p0607c06:聖道諦。
T03n0187_p0607c07:「復告比丘:『如是苦法,我先不從他聞,由善
T03n0187_p0607c08:隨順如理思惟,生智生眼生明生遍生慧
T03n0187_p0607c09:生光。比丘!如是苦集法,我先不從他聞,
T03n0187_p0607c10:由善隨順如理思惟,生智生眼生明生遍
T03n0187_p0607c11:生慧生光。比丘!如是苦集滅法,我先不從
T03n0187_p0607c12:他聞,由善隨順如理思惟,生智生眼生明
T03n0187_p0607c13:生遍生慧生光。比丘!如是苦滅證道,我先
T03n0187_p0607c14:不從他聞,由善隨順如理思惟,生智生眼
T03n0187_p0607c15:生明生遍生慧生光。復告比丘!苦應知、
T03n0187_p0607c16:集應斷、滅應證、道應修,如是四法我先不
T03n0187_p0607c17:從他聞,由善隨順如理思惟,生智生眼生
T03n0187_p0607c18:明生遍生慧生光。』
T03n0187_p0607c19:「復告比丘:『我已知苦、已斷集、已證滅、已修
T03n0187_p0607c20:道,如是四法我先不從他聞,由善隨順如
T03n0187_p0607c21:理思惟,生智生眼生明生遍生慧生光。』
T03n0187_p0607c22:「[10]復告比丘:『我先未見四聖諦,未得阿耨多
T03n0187_p0607c23:羅三藐三菩提時,正智未生;我從證見四
T03n0187_p0607c24:聖諦法輪已,心得解脫,慧得解脫,不復退
T03n0187_p0607c25:失,而以正智得阿耨多羅三藐三菩提。[11]我
T03n0187_p0607c26:生已盡,梵行已立,所作已辦,不受後有。』
T03n0187_p0607c27:「爾時世尊出梵音聲,如是梵音從無量功
T03n0187_p0607c28:德之所成就,無量劫來修習真實,不假於
T03n0187_p0607c29:師自然而悟,發是妙聲,語憍陳如等言:『眼
T03n0187_p0608a01:是無常苦空無我、無人無眾生無壽命,猶如
T03n0187_p0608a02:腐草雜土為牆,危脆不實,如眼,耳鼻舌
T03n0187_p0608a03:身意亦復如是。憍陳如!一切法從因緣
T03n0187_p0608a04:生無有體性,離常離斷猶如虛空,雖無
T03n0187_p0608a05:作者及以受者,善惡之法而不敗[1]亡。憍陳
T03n0187_p0608a06:如!色是無常苦空無我,受想行識亦復如是,
T03n0187_p0608a07:由愛為水潤漬因緣眾苦增長;若得聖道
T03n0187_p0608a08:證見諸法體性皆空,即能永滅如是眾苦。
T03n0187_p0608a09:憍陳如!由彼分別不正思惟而生無明,更
T03n0187_p0608a10:無有餘為無明因,而此分別不至無明。復
T03n0187_p0608a11:由無明而生諸行,而此無明不至諸行,乃
T03n0187_p0608a12:至行緣識,識緣名色,名色緣六處,六處緣
T03n0187_p0608a13:觸,觸緣受,受緣愛,愛緣取,取緣有,有
T03n0187_p0608a14:緣生,生緣老死憂悲苦惱,如是等為世間
T03n0187_p0608a15:因,更無有餘能為其因。雖生諸法而因不
T03n0187_p0608a16:至,法竟無我人眾生[2]受者,捨於此身而
T03n0187_p0608a17:至彼蘊;如理思惟無所分別,即滅無明,
T03n0187_p0608a18:由無明滅即行滅,行滅即識滅,識滅即名色
T03n0187_p0608a19:滅,名色滅即六處滅,六處滅即觸滅,觸
T03n0187_p0608a20:滅即受滅,受滅即愛滅,愛滅即取滅,取滅即
T03n0187_p0608a21:有滅,有滅即生滅,生滅即老死憂悲苦惱滅。
T03n0187_p0608a22:若能如是於蘊界處了悟因緣,爾時得成
T03n0187_p0608a23:多陀阿伽度、阿羅訶、三藐三佛陀。如是甚深
T03n0187_p0608a24:微妙之法,非諸異道所能了悟。』
T03n0187_p0608a25:「爾時世尊為憍陳如,三轉[3]十二行法輪已,
T03n0187_p0608a26:憍陳如等[A1]皆悉了達諸法因緣,漏盡意解成阿
T03n0187_p0608a27:羅漢。即於是時[4]三寶出現,婆伽婆為佛寶,
T03n0187_p0608a28:三轉十二行法輪為法寶,五跋陀羅為僧
T03n0187_p0608a29:寶。佛轉法輪時,六十拘胝欲界諸天、八十拘
T03n0187_p0608b01:胝色界諸天,八萬四千人,皆悉遠塵離垢得
T03n0187_p0608b02:法眼淨。」
T03n0187_p0608b03:佛告諸比丘:「如來以妙梵之音轉于法輪,
T03n0187_p0608b04:其聲遍至十方佛土,彼諸如來各聞三轉十
T03n0187_p0608b05:二行妙梵之聲,咸見世尊住波羅奈鹿野苑
T03n0187_p0608b06:中而轉法輪。
T03n0187_p0608b07:「是時十方諸佛皆悉[A2]默然而不說法,彼土菩
T03n0187_p0608b08:薩各從座起而白佛言:『世尊!如來今者何故
T03n0187_p0608b09:默然而不說法?』爾時彼佛告諸菩薩言:『汝
T03n0187_p0608b10:等應知!釋迦如來於無量劫,勤苦累德勇
T03n0187_p0608b11:猛精進行菩薩道,超過無量菩薩之行,於
T03n0187_p0608b12:娑婆世界得阿耨多羅三藐三菩提,利益一
T03n0187_p0608b13:切起大慈悲轉于法輪。其佛梵音遍至十
T03n0187_p0608b14:方無邊剎土,我今聞彼說法之聲,是故默然。』
T03n0187_p0608b15:諸菩薩眾聞佛語已,皆發阿耨多羅三藐三
T03n0187_p0608b16:菩提心作是誓言:『願我當來速成佛道,以
T03n0187_p0608b17:無漏法眼開悟眾生,同於彼佛。』」
T03n0187_p0608b18:爾時[5]彌勒菩薩前白佛言:「世尊!無量諸來
T03n0187_p0608b19:大菩薩眾,願聞如來轉于法輪所有功德。
T03n0187_p0608b20:唯願世尊!略為宣說法輪之性。」
T03n0187_p0608b21:佛告彌勒及諸菩薩言:「善男子!法輪甚深,不
T03n0187_p0608b22:可取故;法輪難見,離二邊故;法輪難悟,
T03n0187_p0608b23:離作意及不作意故;法輪難知,不可以識
T03n0187_p0608b24:識、不可以智知故;法輪不雜;斷除二障方
T03n0187_p0608b25:能證故;法輪微妙,離諸喻故;法輪堅固,以
T03n0187_p0608b26:金剛智方能入故;法輪難沮,無本際故;法
T03n0187_p0608b27:輪無戲論,離攀緣故;法輪不盡,無退失
T03n0187_p0608b28:故;法輪普遍,如虛空故。
T03n0187_p0608b29:「彌勒!法輪顯示一切諸法,本性寂靜,不生
T03n0187_p0608c01:不滅,無有處所,非分別非不分別,到於
T03n0187_p0608c02:實相昇于彼岸,空、無相、無願、無作,體性清淨
T03n0187_p0608c03:離諸貪欲,會於真如、同於法性、等于實際,
T03n0187_p0608c04:不壞不斷、無著無礙,善入緣起超過二邊不
T03n0187_p0608c05:在中間,無能傾動,契於諸佛無功用行,
T03n0187_p0608c06:不進不退不出不入,而無所得不可言說。
T03n0187_p0608c07:性唯是一而入諸法,是為不二非可安立,
T03n0187_p0608c08:歸第一義入實相法,法界平等超過數量,言
T03n0187_p0608c09:語路斷心行處滅,不可譬喻平等如空,不
T03n0187_p0608c10:離斷常不壞緣起,究竟寂滅無有變易,
T03n0187_p0608c11:降伏眾魔摧諸外道,超過生死入佛境界,
T03n0187_p0608c12:聖智所行、辟支所證、菩薩所趣,諸佛咨嗟!
T03n0187_p0608c13:一切如來同有如是無差別法。彌勒!所轉
T03n0187_p0608c14:法輪體性如是。若有如是轉法輪者乃名
T03n0187_p0608c15:為佛,名正遍知,名自然悟,名法王,名導
T03n0187_p0608c16:師,名大導師,名商主,名自在,名法自在,
T03n0187_p0608c17:名轉法,名法施主,名大施主,名善[6]行圓
T03n0187_p0608c18:滿,名意樂滿足,名說者,名作者,名安慰
T03n0187_p0608c19:者,名安隱者,名勇猛者,名戰勝,名作光,
T03n0187_p0608c20:名破暗,名持燈,名大醫王,名療世間,名

「於長夜恒常開門大施普請眾生

T03n0187_p0610c02:友,恒不捨弃,求法重師不憚艱劬心無
T03n0187_p0610c03:懈怠,於聲聞、緣覺、菩薩、如來、父母師長所,以

T03n0187_p0610c05:以妙寶莊嚴,又以白寶安置眉間作如來
T03n0187_p0610c06:相好,勸諸眾生發菩提心,令修無量諸善

T03n0187_p0610c08:如來無畏願力,名說法不錯亂,名覺悟無言

T03n0187_p0610c21:緊那羅、摩睺羅伽歡喜心瞻仰目不暫捨,名
T03n0187_p0610c22:聲聞眾之所承事,名菩薩眾之所恭敬讚歎,
T03n0187_p0610c23:名無[*]悕求說法,名說一字一句皆不唐捐,
T03n0187_p0610c24:名說法以時。彌勒!我今略說如來功德,若
