T03n0186_p0530c22:佛告比丘:「如來於是轉法輪已,化彼五人
T03n0186_p0530c23:拘鄰之等,念:『此間有優為迦葉等,大有名
T03n0186_p0530c24:稱,國王黎庶咸[21]來奉之,與五百弟子俱。
T03n0186_p0530c25:欲[22]往先開化令解道法,然[23]却彼後當次
T03n0186_p0530c26:伏焉。』即往從之。迦葉見佛來,[24]起迎讚言:『大
T03n0186_p0530c27:道人!善來相見,自安隱乎?』佛報曰:『無病最
T03n0186_p0530c28:利,知足最富,有信最友,無為最安。』迦葉曰:
T03n0186_p0530c29:『有何勅使?』佛言:『欲報一宜願不瞋恚,[25]煩
T03n0186_p0531a01:借火室一宿之間。』曰:『不[1]愛也,中有毒龍
T03n0186_p0531a02:恐相害耳!』佛言:『無苦,龍不害我。』重借至三。
T03n0186_p0531a03:迦葉曰:『[2]往。』佛即澡洗前入火室,持蓐布地。
T03n0186_p0531a04:適坐須臾,龍即瞋恚身中出烟;佛亦出烟。
T03n0186_p0531a05:龍大瞋怒身皆火出;佛亦現神身出火光。龍
T03n0186_p0531a06:火佛火於是俱盛,石室盡然,其炎烟出如
T03n0186_p0531a07:失火狀。
「迦葉夜起相視星宿,見火室盡然。
T03n0186_p0531a08:『咄!是大沙門端正可[A1]惜,不用我言,為火所
T03n0186_p0531a09:害。』佛知其意,於內以道力降龍,龍氣力
T03n0186_p0531a10:盡則自歸伏。佛告龍曰:『汝意伏者當入鉢
T03n0186_p0531a11:中。』[3]龍即入鉢中,佛時置于鉢中。迦葉惶懅,
T03n0186_p0531a12:令五百弟子,人一瓶水就持滅火,如一瓶
T03n0186_p0531a13:[4]著更[5]盛一火,師徒益恐,皆言:『咄!咄!殺是
T03n0186_p0531a14:[6]大沙門了矣。』
「明旦佛持鉢盛[7]龍而出[8]之。
T03n0186_p0531a15:迦葉大喜:『大道人乃得活耶?器中何等?』佛
T03n0186_p0531a16:言:『然,[9]自安隱耳![10]龍是器中[11]所言毒龍為
T03n0186_p0531a17:害者也,今者降之,[*]已受[12]降伏,令受戒矣!』
T03n0186_p0531a18:迦葉自以得道,[13]顧謂弟子:『是大沙門雖神,
T03n0186_p0531a19:不如我以得羅漢道也。』
「佛復移近迦葉所,
T03n0186_p0531a20:止坐一樹下。夜四天王來下聽經,四王光
T03n0186_p0531a21:影明如盛火。迦葉夜起占候見火,明旦詣
T03n0186_p0531a22:佛所曰:『亦事火乎?』佛言:『不也!昨夜四王自
T03n0186_p0531a23:下聽經,是其光耳。』佛止樹下,時天帝釋復
T03n0186_p0531a24:下聽經,帝釋光影甚明踰前。迦葉占候見
T03n0186_p0531a25:光益大,心念沙門續事火也。明日問[14]曰:『得
T03n0186_p0531a26:無事火乎?』佛言:『不也!昨天帝釋來下聽經,
T03n0186_p0531a27:是其光耳。』後夜梵天復下聽經,梵之光明倍
T03n0186_p0531a28:於帝釋。迦葉占候見[15]光晃晃。明日問曰:『想
T03n0186_p0531a29:亦事火也。』佛言:『不也!昨夜梵天來下聽經,
T03n0186_p0531b01:是其光[16]也。』
「迦葉五百弟子人事三火,合事
T03n0186_p0531b02:千五百[17]三火。明旦然之,火了不然,怪而白
T03n0186_p0531b03:師。師言:『是大沙門所為也。』即行問佛:『我所
T03n0186_p0531b04:事火,今然不然。』佛言:『欲使然乎?』曰:『願[18]欲
T03n0186_p0531b05:使然。』佛言:『當然!』火即然矣!火然之後,迦葉
T03n0186_p0531b06:欲滅之不可得滅。五百弟子共助滅之而
T03n0186_p0531b07:不能滅。念言:『[19]是復沙門所為。』即往問曰:『火
T03n0186_p0531b08:既然矣,今不可滅。』佛言:『欲使滅不?』[20]答言:
T03n0186_p0531b09:『願欲得滅。』佛言:『[21]當滅!』應[22]時即滅。迦葉白
T03n0186_p0531b10:佛:『願仁留意不須遠行,我自給[23]飲食。』還
T03n0186_p0531b11:勅家內供設[24]餚饌,曰:『以時至請佛。』佛言:
T03n0186_p0531b12:『便去,今隨後往。』
「迦葉適去,佛以神足上忉
T03n0186_p0531b13:利天,取晝度果;神足[25]至東弗于逮界上數
T03n0186_p0531b14:千萬里,取閻[26]逼果;南至閻浮提界上,取呵
T03n0186_p0531b15:[27]䗍勒[28]果;西至拘耶尼界上,取阿摩勒[*]果;
T03n0186_p0531b16:北至欝[29]單越地,取自然粳米。各滿鉢還,每
T03n0186_p0531b17:先迦葉歸坐其床上。迦葉[30]白曰:『從何道
T03n0186_p0531b18:來?』佛言:『卿每去後,吾至四域及上忉利天,
T03n0186_p0531b19:取此果米香美可食,卿可食之[31]也。』
「佛明
T03n0186_p0531b20:日自到迦葉家受飯而還;於屏處食已,念
T03n0186_p0531b21:欲澡漱。帝釋知佛意,即下以手指地,水出
T03n0186_p0531b22:成池,令佛用之。迦葉向暮仿佯村中,見水
T03n0186_p0531b23:怪之:『何緣有此?』佛言:『吾朝食已意欲澡漱,
T03n0186_p0531b24:帝釋指地令出此水,汝當名此為指地池。』
T03n0186_p0531b25:佛還樹下,道見棄弊衣欲取浣之。帝釋知
T03n0186_p0531b26:意,即到[32]頗那山上,取成治四方好石,上佛
T03n0186_p0531b27:浣衣。佛欲曬衣,帝釋復行取六方石,來給
T03n0186_p0531b28:曬衣。迦葉見[33]於池側有兩好石,問佛:『云
T03n0186_p0531b29:何[34]而得此[35]石?』佛言:『吾欲浣[36]衣曬[37]之,帝
T03n0186_p0531c01:釋奉上使吾用之,是以然矣。』佛後入指地
T03n0186_p0531c02:池澡浴竟,欲上無所攀;池上迦和之樹,自
T03n0186_p0531c03:然屈枝就佛,佛牽得出。迦葉見樹屈下垂
T03n0186_p0531c04:條,怪而問佛。佛言:『吾入池浴,出無所持,
T03n0186_p0531c05:是以樹神為我屈之。』
「時摩竭國王及[38]諸臣
T03n0186_p0531c06:庶,以節會持禮貺詣迦葉相樂七日。迦葉
T03n0186_p0531c07:念:『佛聖達踰我,眾人見之,必當捨我普往
T03n0186_p0531c08:事之,使其不現快耶。』佛知[39]其念,即隱不
T03n0186_p0531c09:現。眾人還已,迦葉念曰:『我有節會餘食甚
T03n0186_p0531c10:多,得大沙門飯之快耶。』佛即知之,至迦葉
T03n0186_p0531c11:所。迦葉驚喜:『來何一快?何以不現?』佛言:『用
T03n0186_p0531c12:[40]念卿故。』曰:『[41]何以念我?』佛言:『前卿意念:「是
T03n0186_p0531c13:大沙門道德巍巍相好紫金,萬民見者必當
T03n0186_p0531c14:捨我共[42]奉事之。」是以不現。今卿相念,故復
T03n0186_p0531c15:來耳。』
「時迦葉五百弟子適俱破薪,各一舉斧
T03n0186_p0531c16:皆不得下,懅而白師。師言:『復大沙門所為。』
T03n0186_p0531c17:即往問佛:『我諸弟子向共破薪,斧皆舉而不
T03n0186_p0531c18:下。』佛言:『當下!』應聲得下。既下之後,斧皆著
T03n0186_p0531c19:薪而不可舉,復行問佛。佛言:『可去!自當
T03n0186_p0531c20:舉耳。』即舉得用。
「時尼連禪水長流[43]激疾,佛
T03n0186_p0531c21:以神通斷水令住,使水[44]壤起高出人頭,
T03n0186_p0531c22:令底揚塵佛行其中。迦葉見之,畏佛為水
T03n0186_p0531c23:所漂,即與弟子俱乘船索佛。見水[45]隔斷,
T03n0186_p0531c24:中央揚塵佛行其中,迦葉[46]呼言:『大道人乃
T03n0186_p0531c25:尚[47]在耶?』佛言:『然!在耳。』又問佛:『欲上船不?』
T03n0186_p0531c26:佛言:『大善!』佛念:『今當現道令子心伏。』即從
T03n0186_p0531c27:水中貫船底入,無有穿迹。如是變化凡十
T03n0186_p0531c28:八焉。迦葉復念:『是大沙門神即神矣,然不
T03n0186_p0531c29:如我已得羅漢也。』佛語迦葉:『汝非羅漢,
T03n0186_p0532a01:不知道證,胡為強[1]顏不知[2]為耻,虛妄自
T03n0186_p0532a02:稱我有道德。』於是迦葉心驚毛[3]竪,慚愧無
T03n0186_p0532a03:顏自知無道,即稽首言:『今大道人,實妙神
T03n0186_p0532a04:聖乃知我意,願得從大道人稟受經戒作
T03n0186_p0532a05:沙門耶?』佛言:『且還報汝弟子共和益善,卿
T03n0186_p0532a06:是耆舊國內所敬,今[4]敬學道可獨知乎?』
「迦
T03n0186_p0532a07:葉受教,告諸弟子:『汝曹知不?我[5]自所見意
T03n0186_p0532a08:方信解,當除鬚髮被服法衣,受佛[6]禁戒
T03n0186_p0532a09:[7]而作沙門。汝等意欲何趣?』諸弟子曰:『我
T03n0186_p0532a10:等所知皆大師恩,師所尊信必不虛妄,願
T03n0186_p0532a11:皆隨從得作沙門。』於是師徒脫衣裘褐及
T03n0186_p0532a12:水瓶[8]革屣,諸事火具悉棄水中,俱共詣佛
T03n0186_p0532a13:稽首白言:『今我五百人皆有信意,願欲離
T03n0186_p0532a14:家[9]剃除鬚髮作沙門。』佛言:『善哉!諸沙門
T03n0186_p0532a15:來。』迦葉五百人鬚髮自墮皆成沙門。
「優為迦
T03n0186_p0532a16:葉有二弟,次名那提,幼曰竭夷,二人各有
T03n0186_p0532a17:二百五十弟子,[10]舊舍水邊。見諸梵志衣被
T03n0186_p0532a18:什物、事火之具隨水下流,二弟驚愕,恐兄
T03n0186_p0532a19:五百人為惡人所害大水所漂,即合五百
T03n0186_p0532a20:弟子[11]逆流而上。見兄師徒皆作沙門,怪問
T03n0186_p0532a21:大兄:『年百二十智慧高遠,國王吏民皆共宗
T03n0186_p0532a22:事,我意以兄為是羅漢,今反捨梵志業學
T03n0186_p0532a23:沙門法,佛豈獨大其道勝乎?』迦葉答[12]言:『佛
T03n0186_p0532a24:道最尊,其法無量,我雖世[13]尊未有得道,
T03n0186_p0532a25:神智如佛其法清淨,我見慈心度人無極,
T03n0186_p0532a26:以三事教化:一者、道定神足變化自然,二者、
T03n0186_p0532a27:智慧知人本意,三者、應病授藥。』二弟各顧
T03n0186_p0532a28:語弟子:『汝欲何趣?』五百人俱同聲言:『願如
T03n0186_p0532a29:大師。』即皆稽首求作沙門。佛言:『比丘來!』二
T03n0186_p0532b01:弟及五百弟子,鬚髮自墮袈裟著身,即隨佛
T03n0186_p0532b02:後成為沙門。佛便有千沙門,俱到波羅奈
T03n0186_p0532b03:夷縣叢樹下坐,諸弟子皆故梵志。佛為弟
T03n0186_p0532b04:子現神變化:一者、飛行,二者、說經,三者、教

T03n0186_p0532b11:訓開化愚冥。時摩竭國[21]瓶沙王,聞釋種王

T03n0186_p0532b13:體紫金色,棄國捐王行作沙門,得自然佛,
T03n0186_p0532b14:號[22]名如來、至真、等正覺、明行成為、善逝、世間
T03n0186_p0532b15:解、無上士、道法御、天人師,為佛、眾祐。講宣道
T03n0186_p0532b16:義上中下善,義達微妙所演具足,淨修梵
T03n0186_p0532b17:行戒禁具足,定成、慧成、解成、度知見成;成
T03n0186_p0532b18:就五眼:肉眼、天眼、慧眼、法眼、佛眼。六通三達,
T03n0186_p0532b19:諸天釋梵皆奉事焉,莫不蒙濟。
「時[*]瓶沙王
T03n0186_p0532b20:聞之,欣然大悅:『吾本共要得佛相度。』勅諸
T03n0186_p0532b21:大臣長者梵志國中吏民,嚴治道路散華燒
T03n0186_p0532b22:香,持諸幢蓋,王乘羽[23]寶之車,大臣百官前
T03n0186_p0532b23:後導從,千乘萬騎,長者梵志萬二千人欲出
T03n0186_p0532b24:城迎。忽大風起閉其城門,王怪所以:『今行
T03n0186_p0532b25:迎佛,當有吉喜快善瑞應。』時城門神。即謂
T03n0186_p0532b26:王言:『[24]快無不利,王往前世與八萬四千王,
T03n0186_p0532b27:治寺起塔,[25]誓於來世一時見佛諮受道
T03n0186_p0532b28:教。今有一人閉在刑獄,違其本誓故城門
T03n0186_p0532b29:閉;當放大赦,獄中人出,同時見佛諮受訓
T03n0186_p0532c01:誨,城門乃開。』王聞乃達,速勅[26]諸方,大赦境
T03n0186_p0532c02:土獄囚得出,一時往迎。
「時佛入國,有大社
T03n0186_p0532c03:樹名曰遮越,佛與比丘共坐樹下。王遙見
T03n0186_p0532c04:佛與比丘眾,如星中月,猶如日出天下大
T03n0186_p0532c05:明靡不照曜;亦如帝釋梵王聖帝處於本
T03n0186_p0532c06:宮,如樹華茂晃若金山,威神特顯光明巍巍
T03n0186_p0532c07:超絕無侶。王心踊躍下車步進,[27]去五威
T03n0186_p0532c08:儀,除蓋履扇冠幘刀仗,前稽首佛足,自稱
T03n0186_p0532c09:其號:『我是國王[*]瓶沙身也,久服聖尊飢虛
T03n0186_p0532c10:積時。』如是至三。佛告王曰:『實如來言,是王
T03n0186_p0532c11:[*]瓶沙也,諸佛天神皆護王身。』王曰:『蒙祐。』
T03n0186_p0532c12:退坐一面,群臣百官稽首遷坐一面,前者作
T03n0186_p0532c13:禮,中者低頭,後者叉手。皆却坐訖,王及臣
T03n0186_p0532c14:民覩優為迦葉,在山學仙耆舊來久,怪之
T03n0186_p0532c15:佛邊,心自念言:『佛是優為師耶?優為是佛師
T03n0186_p0532c16:乎?』佛覩心念,即告優為,[28]為說偈言:

T03n0186_p0532c29:佛教踊在虛空,身上出火,身下出水;身上
T03n0186_p0533a01:[A2]出水,還雨其身而身不濕;身下[1]出火,火無
T03n0186_p0533a02:所傷;飛行虛空猶如飛鳥,七現七沒行於
T03n0186_p0533a03:水上,猶如履地。不礙牆壁須彌山地,若如
T03n0186_p0533a04:入水。從東方來,沒佛前地忽[2]現西方;西
T03n0186_p0533a05:來沒佛[3]前,忽然現南;南沒北現,北沒南現。
T03n0186_p0533a06:變化[4]已訖,還在佛前長跪叉手,而白佛言:
T03n0186_p0533a07:『我是佛弟子,佛是我師。』王及臣民爾乃重明
T03n0186_p0533a08:優為迦葉是佛弟[5]子。
「佛告王曰:『天下有眼
T03n0186_p0533a09:未必色故也,觀色無常;痛[6]痒想行識亦復
T03n0186_p0533a10:無常。無常苦空非身之義,非我非彼,未有
T03n0186_p0533a11:好道[7]如樂色者。明士達之,色如聚沫,痛
T03n0186_p0533a12:痒如泡,思想[8]如芭蕉,行亦如夢,識喻如
T03n0186_p0533a13:幻,三界如化,一切無常不可久保。』佛告王
T03n0186_p0533a14:曰:『造宮殿來為幾何年?』王白佛言:『七百餘
T03n0186_p0533a15:年。』『為更幾王?』王[9]曰:『更二十餘王。』佛問王
T03n0186_p0533a16:曰:『悉識諸王不?』王曰:『不識!唯知吾父耳。』
T03n0186_p0533a17:佛言:『現地有常,人物一切皆歸無常,天地雖
T03n0186_p0533a18:現常不可久,三界無怙唯道可恃,絕禍於
T03n0186_p0533a19:未萠,[10]殖福於未然。滅盡五陰眾患之難,如
T03n0186_p0533a20:消炬火,積德日進如月之初。』
「佛言王:『猶
T03n0186_p0533a21:如母人懷子[11]在胎,相祿各異,或豪貴貧
T03n0186_p0533a22:賤、智明愚冥、盲聾瘖瘂,父母豈知?[12]子生長
T03n0186_p0533a23:後,乃別禍福,非二親過。是其宿殃所作善
T03n0186_p0533a24:惡,非父母咎也。身行惡業,口宣麁言,心
T03n0186_p0533a25:念毒惡,誹謗賢聖,壽終身散魂神墮惡
T03n0186_p0533a26:地獄之中;身口心善,不犯十惡,修行十
T03n0186_p0533a27:德,壽終生天。十方佛前,若在人間,豪貴富
T03n0186_p0533a28:樂其命永長。』
「佛言:『雖有是禍福言辭,未必
T03n0186_p0533a29:純一。所以者何?皆從[A3]緣起,緣合則生,緣散
T03n0186_p0533b01:則滅。從無明緣則有行,從其行緣則有
T03n0186_p0533b02:識,從其識緣則有名色,從名色緣則有六
T03n0186_p0533b03:入,從六入緣則有所更,從所更緣則有痛
T03n0186_p0533b04:[13]痒,從痛[*]痒緣則有恩愛,從恩愛緣則有
T03n0186_p0533b05:所受,從所受緣則有所有,從所有緣則有
T03n0186_p0533b06:生矣,從所生緣則[14]有老病死憂悲苦惱大
T03n0186_p0533b07:毒患合。以除無明、行、識、名色、六入、更、痛、愛、受、
T03n0186_p0533b08:有、生、老病死憂愁苦惱大毒患,滅眾罪,毒患
T03n0186_p0533b09:自然消滅,乃至無為無窮之業,無三界神。十
T03n0186_p0533b10:二緣起之根株,坦然無迹猶如虛空,無心
T03n0186_p0533b11:意識無所存立,與大道同分別本無,逮得
T03n0186_p0533b12:法忍獨步無雙,度脫十方眾生蒙恩。』
T03n0186_p0533b13:「佛說[15]此經時,八萬四千諸天世人,萬二千
T03n0186_p0533b14:遠塵離垢諸法[16]眼生,無央數人皆發無上
T03n0186_p0533b15:正真道意。時[*]瓶沙王得法眼淨,心中欣然
T03n0186_p0533b16:前受五戒,大臣百官國民皆前歸命亦受五
T03n0186_p0533b17:戒。受五戒時,人馬車乘咸悉寂然不暢音
T03n0186_p0533b18:聲。王前白佛:『吾國多事欲退比更親奉。』佛
T03n0186_p0533b19:言:『善哉!勞屈[17]大王群臣民庶。』王稽首禮,遶
T03n0186_p0533b20:佛三匝,重禮而去;群臣百官人民次禮而還。
T03n0186_p0533b21:大臣賀王:『前時諸王悉不見佛,今獨王見,
T03n0186_p0533b22:宿福祿厚故乃爾耳。』王益欣踊,亦賀諸臣:『卿
T03n0186_p0533b23:等本德值是[18]世尊。』王還宮中,[19]勅夫人婇
T03n0186_p0533b24:女大小及國吏民,歲[20]三月六齋守禁法施
T03n0186_p0533b25:戒博聞。王適歸宮,時天帝釋將八萬天,散
T03n0186_p0533b26:華佛上歸命作禮而去,言:『南無佛!』尋皆悉
T03n0186_p0533b27:度得法眼淨。
「時摩竭國有一長者,[21]名迦陵,
T03n0186_p0533b28:見佛入國,天人所奉而無精舍:『我有好[22]竹
T03n0186_p0533b29:園欲[23]用上佛。』[A4]往詣佛所稽首足下,前白
T03n0186_p0533c01:佛言:『佛愍一切如[24]視愛子,棄轉輪王不
T03n0186_p0533c02:慕世榮,今無精舍,有一竹園去城不遠,
T03n0186_p0533c03:願以奉佛可作精舍。』佛受呪願,佛及聖眾

T03n0186_p0533c06:「佛未入摩竭國時,國民豐富饒美飲食,作
T03n0186_p0533c07:樂倡伎常歡不廢,夙夜遊戲。佛適入國,羅
T03n0186_p0533c08:閱祇城晝夜寂寞,誦聲濟濟,[26]齊戒讀經,捨
T03n0186_p0533c09:世俗樂如棄糞除,唯佛是尊,聽經行法不
T03n0186_p0533c10:捨三寶。佛有沙門名曰安陛,遣行宣法
T03n0186_p0533c11:開化未聞,五濁之世人心荒迷不達至真,
T03n0186_p0533c12:入城分衛,衣服整齊威儀禮節,不失常法
T03n0186_p0533c13:行步安[27]詳,因是使人見之心悅。時舍利弗,
T03n0186_p0533c14:本字優波替,而遙見之心中欣然。[28]自心念
T03n0186_p0533c15:言:『我學來久,未曾覩此沙門,衣服禮節安
T03n0186_p0533c16:[*]詳齊整,不失儀節。試往問之,所奉何道?
T03n0186_p0533c17:吾常意疑當有異聞,殊妙之道未必齊此。』
T03n0186_p0533c18:往問比丘:『所事何道?誰為師主?願聞其志?』
T03n0186_p0533c19:比丘知意,即說偈言:

T03n0186_p0534a20:得為比丘受成就戒。』佛言:『善哉!』呼:『比丘來!』
T03n0186_p0534a21:頭髮自墮袈裟著身,佛為說經分別諸法,
T03n0186_p0534a22:十二根本[10]坦然意達,漏盡意解得無著果。
T03n0186_p0534a23:前白佛言:『吾有同學,俗字拘律,今名目連,
T03n0186_p0534a24:少小相順,要有至真以相開示。今[11]已蒙濟,
T03n0186_p0534a25:彼沒塵垢未得拔出,承尊聖旨往開示

T03n0186_p0534b06:假喻言之,人有珍妙施,有得大寶如意
T03n0186_p0534b07:明珠及獲寶英,復欲反求帛祠[13]為珠,非
T03n0186_p0534b08:身所欲。』目連答曰:『仁智勝我,常兄事卿,必
T03n0186_p0534b09:不相誤,便當同志將吾受訓,稽首至尊。』

T03n0186_p0534b11:足,退坐一面,叉手白佛:『違曠侍省沈沒塵
T03n0186_p0534b12:垢,今乃奉覲,願為沙門啟受法律。』佛言:『善
T03n0186_p0534b13:哉!』即除澡[14]瓶鹿衣杖具。佛呼:『比丘來!』頭髮
T03n0186_p0534b14:自墮袈裟著身,為說正諦漏盡意解,所作
T03n0186_p0534b15:已辦成無著果。佛言:『此二人等往古世時,誓
T03n0186_p0534b16:供養我,待吾道成侍衛左右,今乃相值。』本

T03n0186_p0536a01:四[1]十里,往奉迎佛稽首歸命。優陀耶前報
T03n0186_p0536a02:王曰:『本受佛教奉命見王,宣其意故,今
T03n0186_p0536a03:還宣命,說王意旨,飢虛無量,欲見至尊稽
T03n0186_p0536a04:首受法,并化萬民咸蒙福慶。』王曰:『宜知是

T03n0186_p0536a06:「爾時優陀耶還來詣佛所,稽首足下[2]以
T03n0186_p0536a07:[3]申王[4]意。世尊及諸弟子,自期七日當還
T03n0186_p0536a08:本國。王及臣民莫不欣悅,別來積年夙夜
T03n0186_p0536a09:[5]相念,飲食不甘,寢不能寐,飢虛日久計
T03n0186_p0536a10:日度時;須世尊到[6]已竟七日。於時大聖
T03n0186_p0536a11:告諸弟子:『明日當發至迦維羅衛見於父
T03n0186_p0536a12:王,皆嚴整衣服[7]携持應鉢。』梵釋四王聞佛

T03n0186_p0536a14:諸幢蓋,四王諸天皆在前導,梵天侍右,帝
T03n0186_p0536a15:釋侍左,諸比丘眾皆隨佛後;諸天龍神華
T03n0186_p0536a16:香伎樂,追於上侍。佛適進路先現瑞應,三
T03n0186_p0536a17:千國土六反震動,百歲枯樹皆生華實,諸枯
T03n0186_p0536a18:竭溪㵎自然泉[8]出。王見此瑞知佛[*]已來,
T03n0186_p0536a19:[9]即勅諸釋種大臣百官,皆行詣佛散華燒
T03n0186_p0536a20:香,[*]竪諸幢幡鼓眾伎樂,悉出[10]迎佛。王遙

T03n0186_p0536a22:[11]暘朝,如樹華茂芬葩熾盛,巨身丈六相好
T03n0186_p0536a23:嚴身,晃如金山。王覩悲喜,前稽首足[12]下:『離
T03n0186_p0536a24:別彌時今乃相見。』大臣百官皆稽首禮。

T03n0186_p0536a25:入城,足蹈門閫地為大動,天雨眾華樂器
T03n0186_p0536a26:皆鳴,盲者得視,聾者得聽,拘躄得行,病
T03n0186_p0536a27:者得愈,瘂者[13]得言,狂者得正,僂者得[14]申,
T03n0186_p0536a28:若被毒者[15]為毒不行,百鳥禽獸相和悲鳴,
T03n0186_p0536a29:婦女珠環相掁作聲。[16]當爾之時,見此變化
T03n0186_p0536b01:莫不歡喜,[17]室寶藏者自然發出,中滿珍琦,
T03n0186_p0536b02:懷異心者皆共和同,等心叉手自歸命佛。
T03n0186_p0536b03:諸畜生類蒙其光潤,皆得生天;懷妊[18]母人
T03n0186_p0536b04:蒙斯光明,苦痛微薄皆得在產,端正姝好,
T03n0186_p0536b05:消婬怒癡無復塵勞,展轉相視如父如母
T03n0186_p0536b06:如兄如弟如子如身;地獄休息,餓鬼飽滿,
T03n0186_p0536b07:尋光來至歸命世尊,皆發道意。王見佛巨
T03n0186_p0536b08:身丈六相好光明體紫金色,諸根寂定如星
T03n0186_p0536b09:中月,晃如金山,天帝梵王四王所奉;覩諸
T03n0186_p0536b10:梵志,久在山中[19]曝露身形,日炙風飄身體
T03n0186_p0536b11:黑[20]瘦,在佛邊侍,猶如黑[21]象在紫金山不
T03n0186_p0536b12:能發起。顯佛大德令一切悅,便勅國中諸
T03n0186_p0536b13:豪族釋,端正姝好顏貌殊異,選五百人出
T03n0186_p0536b14:為沙門,侍佛左右,猶如鳳凰在須彌山,亦
T03n0186_p0536b15:如摩尼著水精器。
T03n0186_p0536b16:「時佛弟難陀亦作沙門,[22]來下鬚髮。時難陀
T03n0186_p0536b17:有典監,作剃頭師,前白佛言:『人身難得,佛
T03n0186_p0536b18:世難值,明時叵遇,今我丈夫及諸尊者識
T03n0186_p0536b19:道至高不可限量,不慕世榮捨棄尊位,
T03n0186_p0536b20:行作沙門。今我小節下劣靡逮,何所貪樂
T03n0186_p0536b21:不出為道乎?唯佛愍哀濟救三塗,沒溺塵
T03n0186_p0536b22:埃拔為沙門。』佛言:『善哉!』佛時便呼:『比丘來!』
T03n0186_p0536b23:頭髮則墮袈裟在身,即成沙門。禮諸沙門
T03n0186_p0536b24:因隨次坐,難陀在後作次第禮,到此沙門
T03n0186_p0536b25:則住不禮,心自[23]念:『是我家僕,不能為禮。』佛
T03n0186_p0536b26:知告難陀:『佛法大通舉學前後,不在尊卑,
T03n0186_p0536b27:猶如大海悉受萬川四流不避污[24]泥,執
T03n0186_p0536b28:心如地,四大俱等。地水火風內外無異,其
T03n0186_p0536b29:神空淨,所著為名,宜棄自大,以法自將,乃
T03n0186_p0536c01:應先聖無極道訓。』時難陀見佛教誨切至,事
T03n0186_p0536c02:不得止,解了本無棄捐自大,下意[25]作禮。
T03n0186_p0536c03:天地大動,眾會咸歎:『善[26]哉!為道等心,除自
T03n0186_p0536c04:[27]貢高而下卑心,感於天地為之大動。』從
T03n0186_p0536c05:是制法先學為長後學為小,法之常宜各
T03n0186_p0536c06:無所[28]限,無所諍訟。
「時佛入宮坐於殿上,
T03n0186_p0536c07:王及臣民日日供養百種甘饌,佛說經法所
T03n0186_p0536c08:度無量。俱夷携羅云來,稽首佛足[29]瞻對
T03n0186_p0536c09:問訊:『久違侍覲曠廢供養。』時王[30]眷屬皆懷
T03n0186_p0536c10:沈疑,太子[A7]捐國十有二年,何從懷妊生子羅
T03n0186_p0536c11:云?佛語父王:『告諸群[31]寮:「俱夷守節貞潔清
T03n0186_p0536c12:淨,無[32]瑕疵也。」設王不信,今當現證。』於時
T03n0186_p0536c13:世尊化諸眾僧皆使如佛,相好光明等無
T03n0186_p0536c14:差異。於時羅云厥年七歲,俱夷即以指印信
T03n0186_p0536c15:環與羅云言:『是汝父者以此與焉。』羅云應
T03n0186_p0536c16:時直[33]前詣佛,以印信環而授世尊。王及群
T03n0186_p0536c17:臣咸皆欣踊,稱言:『善哉!所[34]見無量,真佛子

T03n0186_p0536c23:安其所,萬邦黎庶咸來慶賀,道德滋茂如月

T03n0186_p0536c26:於是世尊告神妙天、大神妙天、歡[38]豫天、加
T03n0186_p0536c27:歡天、[39]旃檀天、大悅天、寂然天、寂律天,如是
T03n0186_p0536c28:等類淨居天子伴黨八人:「佛以大會轉於法
T03n0186_p0536c29:輪,為一切故救濟十方,勿令廢斷,開眾
T03n0186_p0537a01:生意經布天下,乃報佛恩。」於時世尊復告
T03n0186_p0537a02:大神妙天子:「今此經典[1]名《普曜大方等典》,
T03n0186_p0537a03:諸菩薩力所可娛樂,遍諸佛[2]世界悉令咸
T03n0186_p0537a04:聞,經所入處靡不晃昱,佛自口宣,當速受
T03n0186_p0537a05:之持諷誦讀,是佛法目普令流布。若菩薩學
T03n0186_p0537a06:聞是經法,其心堅強,精進奉行無上正真之
T03n0186_p0537a07:道為最正[3]學。若有眾生樂微妙者,住
T03n0186_p0537a08:大乘法心念無疑,降魔羅網,悉諷誦已必
T03n0186_p0537a09:獲大[4]聖,諸外異學不得其便,勸助[*]學微
T03n0186_p0537a10:成大德本至於大乘。
「若有賢人設聞說是
T03n0186_p0537a11:《普曜經典》,叉手自歸,即捨八事懈怠之本,
T03n0186_p0537a12:[5]成八功[6]勳。何謂為八:一、得端正好色。二、
T03n0186_p0537a13:得力勢強盛。三、得眷屬滋茂。四、逮得辯才
T03n0186_p0537a14:無量。五、學疾得出家。六、所行清淨。七、得三
T03n0186_p0537a15:昧定。八、得智慧明無所不照。是為八[7]功
T03n0186_p0537a16:德。
「若有人為法師布座諷誦是經,當得
T03n0186_p0537a17:八座[8]福。何謂為八:一、得長者座。二、得轉輪
T03n0186_p0537a18:王座。三、得天帝座。四、得自在天座。五、得[9]大
T03n0186_p0537a19:梵天座。六、[10]得菩薩座。七、得如來座。八、得轉
T03n0186_p0537a20:法輪度脫一切座。是為八[11]座。
「若有法師
T03n0186_p0537a21:[12]班宣是法,設有讚[13]歎善哉者,當得八清
T03n0186_p0537a22:淨行。何謂為八:一曰、言行相應無所違失。
T03n0186_p0537a23:二曰、口言至誠而[14]無虛妄。三曰、在於眾
T03n0186_p0537a24:會真諦無欺。四曰、所言人信不捨遠之。五
T03n0186_p0537a25:曰、所言柔軟初無麤獷。六曰、其聲悲和猶
T03n0186_p0537a26:如哀鸞。七曰、身心隨[15]時音聲如梵,會中人
T03n0186_p0537a27:聞莫不[16]咨受。八曰、音響如佛可眾生心。

「若有書是《普曜經[17]典》,著[18]於竹帛,

T03n0186_p0537b04:藏,普解一切諸佛經法。[25]四、得總持藏,一切
T03n0186_p0537b05:所聞皆能識念。五曰、得辯才藏,為[26]諸眾
T03n0186_p0537b06:生班宣經典皆歡喜受。六曰、[27]得法藏,將
T03n0186_p0537b07:護正法。七曰、[*]得[28]隨意法藏,未曾斷絕三
T03n0186_p0537b08:寶法教。八曰、[29]得奉行法藏,則輙逮得無所
T03n0186_p0537b09:從生[30]之忍。是為八大法藏。
「若有受[31]持是
T03n0186_p0537b10:《普曜經典》諷誦受持,得具八業。何謂為八:
T03n0186_p0537b11:一曰、施業,無慳妬心。二曰、戒業,具足諸願。
T03n0186_p0537b12:三曰、聞業,合集智慧至阿惟顏。四曰、寂業,
T03n0186_p0537b13:懃於一切定意正受。五曰、見業,悉能具覩三
T03n0186_p0537b14:達之智。六曰、福業,具於相好訓誨佛國。七
T03n0186_p0537b15:曰、慧業,為眾說法應病[32]授藥。八曰、大哀業,
T03n0186_p0537b16:為於十方[33]殖眾德本而無懈[34]惓。
「受持是
T03n0186_p0537b17:《普曜法》,心自念言:『使一切眾生皆逮是法。』
T03n0186_p0537b18:以是德本復得八大福。何謂為八:一曰、轉
T03n0186_p0537b19:輪聖王成大福德,覩見無極建立篤信。二
T03n0186_p0537b20:曰、得作四天王。三曰、得作帝釋。四曰、得
T03n0186_p0537b21:作炎天王。五曰、得作兜術天子。六曰、得
T03n0186_p0537b22:作無憍樂天。七曰、得作化自在天。八曰、得
T03n0186_p0537b23:[35]作如來,斷諸不善法具足諸善本。是為

「若有受此《普曜經》者,若至心聽[36]耳貫係
T03n0186_p0537b25:[37]意,得八清淨心。何謂為八:一曰、常行慈
T03n0186_p0537b26:心消除瞋恚。二曰、常行愍哀除眾患害。三
T03n0186_p0537b27:曰、常行喜悅除諸不樂。四曰、常行於護
T03n0186_p0537b28:除諸結著。五曰、修四禪行在於欲界而得
T03n0186_p0537b29:自在。六曰、行四無色定而得由己。七曰、
T03n0186_p0537c01:得五神通遊諸佛土,除諸罣礙眾蓋之患。
T03n0186_p0537c02:八曰、逮得勇伏定意獨步三界。是為八。」

T03n0186_p0537c04:爾時世尊告賢者大迦葉、賢者阿難、彌勒菩
