T04n0201_p0297c23:瞿沙,唯彼能治。」時王聞已即大資嚴,便送其
T04n0201_p0297c24:子向竺叉尸羅國,到彼國已至尊者瞿沙
T04n0201_p0297c25:所,而作是言:「吾從遠方故來療目,唯願哀
T04n0201_p0297c26:愍為我治眼。」爾時尊者許為治眼,多作銅
T04n0201_p0297c27:盞賦與大眾,語諸人言:「聞我說法有流
T04n0201_p0297c28:淚者置此椀中。」因即為說《十二緣經》。眾會聞
T04n0201_p0297c29:已啼泣流淚,以椀承取聚集眾淚向王子所。
T04n0201_p0298a01:尊者瞿沙即取眾淚置右掌中,而說偈言:

T04n0201_p0298a19:因緣法藥,能令聞者悲感垂淚。婆須之龍
T04n0201_p0298a20:吐大惡毒,夜叉惡鬼遍滿舍宅,吉毘坻陀羅
T04n0201_p0298a21:根本厭道,此淚悉能消滅無遺,是乃為難!
T04n0201_p0298a22:況斯翳障,猶如[3]蚊翅而除滅之,何足為
T04n0201_p0298a23:難?設大雲霧幽闇晦冥惡風暴雨,此淚亦能
T04n0201_p0298a24:消滅。是時狂醉象軍及以步兵鎧仗自嚴,以
T04n0201_p0298a25:淚灑之軍陣退散。一切種智所修集法,其誰
T04n0201_p0298a26:聞者而不雨淚?然以此淚能[4]禳災患,唯
T04n0201_p0298a27:除宿業。」彼時王子既得眼已歡喜踊躍,又
T04n0201_p0298a28:聞說法厭患生死,得須陀洹果,生希有想,

T04n0201_p0298b18:彼旃陀羅是學優婆塞得見諦道,不肯殺
T04n0201_p0298b19:人,典刑戮者極生瞋忿,而語之言:「汝今欲
T04n0201_p0298b20:違王憲法耶?」優婆塞語典刑戮者言:「汝甚
T04n0201_p0298b21:無智,王今何必苦我殺人?雖復色身屬王
T04n0201_p0298b22:作旃陀羅,聖種中生名曰法身,不屬於王,
T04n0201_p0298b23:非所制也。」即說偈言:

T04n0201_p0298c10:雖帝釋教我猶不隨。」王聞此語極大瞋忿,
T04n0201_p0298c11:勅令使殺。彼旃陀羅父兄弟七人盡不肯殺,
T04n0201_p0298c12:王遂殺之有二人在,至第六者勅使殺之
T04n0201_p0298c13:亦不[9]肯殺,王又殺之,至第七者又不肯
T04n0201_p0298c14:殺,王復殺之。老母啟王:「第七小者為我寬
T04n0201_p0298c15:放。」王言:「今此人者是汝何物?」老母答言:「皆是
T04n0201_p0298c16:我兒。」王復問言:「前六者非汝子耶?」答言:「亦

T04n0201_p0299b22:惱既斷鬚髮自落,隨從世尊往詣迦毘羅衛
T04n0201_p0299b23:國,如佛本行中廣說。閱頭檀王受化調順,諸
T04n0201_p0299b24:釋種等恃其族姓生於憍慢,佛婆伽婆,一
T04n0201_p0299b25:身觀者無有厭足,身體豐滿不肥不瘦,婆
T04n0201_p0299b26:羅門等苦行來久,身形羸弊,雖內懷道外貌
T04n0201_p0299b27:極惡,隨逐佛行甚不相稱。爾時父王作是
T04n0201_p0299b28:念言:「若使釋種出家以隨從佛,得相稱副。」
T04n0201_p0299b29:作是念已,擊鼓唱言:「仰使釋種家遣一人
T04n0201_p0299c01:令其出家。」即奉王勅,家遣一人度[5]令出
T04n0201_p0299c02:家。時優波離為諸釋等剃[A3]髮鬚之時涕泣
T04n0201_p0299c03:不樂,釋等語言:「何故涕泣?」優波離言:「今汝
T04n0201_p0299c04:釋子盡皆出家,我何由活?」時諸釋等聞優波

T04n0201_p0300b18:整,諸[7]根寂定,如舊比丘。五百釋種皆白四
T04n0201_p0300b19:羯磨受具足戒,佛言:「我今當以方便除諸
T04n0201_p0300b20:釋種憍慢之心。」爾時世尊語諸釋種:「汝等今
T04n0201_p0300b21:者應當敬禮諸舊比丘。」上座憍陳如、阿毘馬
T04n0201_p0300b22:師比丘等次第為禮,優波離最在下坐,釋賢
T04n0201_p0300b23:王於諸釋中最為導首。爾時諸釋敬順佛
T04n0201_p0300b24:教,次第禮足至優波離,見其足異,尋即仰
T04n0201_p0300b25:觀見優波離面,時諸釋等甚用驚怪,猶如山
T04n0201_p0300b26:頂[8]瀑水流注觸[9]崖迴波,而作是言:「我等日
T04n0201_p0300b27:種剎利之姓,世所尊重,云何今者於己僕使
T04n0201_p0300b28:卑下之姓剃髮之種而為禮敬?我等[10]今當
T04n0201_p0300b29:向佛世尊具[11]說上事。」白佛:「世尊!優波
T04n0201_p0300c01:離所亦敬禮耶?」佛告釋種:「今我種,此法斷
T04n0201_p0300c02:憍慢處。」時諸釋種白佛言:「此首陀羅種。」佛告
T04n0201_p0300c03:之曰:「一切無常,種姓不定,無常一味,種姓亦
T04n0201_p0300c04:爾,有何差別?」時諸釋種復白佛言:「世尊!此
T04n0201_p0300c05:剃髮之種,我等日姓中出。」佛告釋等:「一切世
T04n0201_p0300c06:間如夢如幻,種姓之中有何差別?」諸釋種
T04n0201_p0300c07:等白佛言:「世尊!此是僕使,我等是主。」佛答
T04n0201_p0300c08:釋言:「一切世間皆為恩愛而作奴僕,未脫
T04n0201_p0300c09:生死,貴賤無異,捨汝憍慢。」時諸釋等端嚴
T04n0201_p0300c10:殊特如華敷榮,合掌向佛,懷疑猶豫而作
T04n0201_p0300c11:是言:「必使我等禮優波離足耶?」佛告釋種:
T04n0201_p0300c12:「非獨於我,一切諸佛出家之法悉皆如是。」時
T04n0201_p0300c13:諸釋等聞佛重說出家法已,儼然而住如
T04n0201_p0300c14:樹無風,心意愁惱皆同聲言:「我等云何違佛
T04n0201_p0300c15:教勅?宜順佛教。」先舊智人作如是語:「如來
T04n0201_p0300c16:所以先度優波離者,為欲摧破諸釋種等
T04n0201_p0300c17:憍慢心故。」諸釋於是捨棄憍慢順出家法,
T04n0201_p0300c18:亦為未來貴族出家所順[12]法故,拔陀釋等
T04n0201_p0300c19:久習憍慢今拔其根,為優波離接足作
T04n0201_p0300c20:禮。當禮之時,大地城郭山林河海悉皆震
T04n0201_p0300c21:動,諸天唱言:「釋種今日憍慢山崩。」即說偈言:

T04n0201_p0301a28:到其家,語首羅言:「汝今應修五大施。」首羅
T04n0201_p0301a29:聞已心大愁惱,作是思惟:「我尚不能修於
T04n0201_p0301b01:小施,云何語我作五大施?如來法中豈無
T04n0201_p0301b02:餘法?諸弟子等教我布施,世尊今者亦教布
T04n0201_p0301b03:施。」作是念已,白佛言:「世尊!微細小施尚不
T04n0201_p0301b04:能作,況當五大施乎?」佛告長者:「不殺名為
T04n0201_p0301b05:大施,不盜、不邪婬、不妄語、不飲酒,如是等名
T04n0201_p0301b06:為五大施。」聞是語已心大歡喜,作是思惟:
T04n0201_p0301b07:「如此五事不損毫釐得大施名,何為不
T04n0201_p0301b08:作?」作是念已,於世尊所深生歡喜信敬
T04n0201_p0301b09:之心,而作是言:「佛是調御丈夫,此實不虛,
T04n0201_p0301b10:自非世尊誰當能解作如是說?誰不敬

T04n0201_p0301b27:時魔王見首羅歡喜,作是念言:「我今當往
T04n0201_p0301b28:詣首羅所破其善心。」作是念已,化作佛身
T04n0201_p0301b29:三十二相、八十種好至首羅家,即說偈言:

T04n0201_p0301c25:定是魔,如賣針人至針師家求欲賣針。汝

復次,不得禪定,於命終時不得決定。

T04n0201_p0302c22:願時羂索即絕,於佛法僧深生信敬,即勅
T04n0201_p0302c23:大臣名浮者延[14]蜜多,營般遮[*]于瑟。于時大
T04n0201_p0302c24:臣即奉王教設般遮[*]于瑟,[15]使人益食。時
T04n0201_p0302c25:彼大臣處上座頭,坐見上座比丘留半分
T04n0201_p0302c26:食,呪願已訖,以此餘食盛著鉢中從坐起
T04n0201_p0302c27:去,如是再三。大臣見已生不信心,作是思
T04n0201_p0302c28:惟:「如此比丘必不清淨。」作是念已具以此
T04n0201_p0302c29:事上白於王。王問大臣:「卿極得信心?」臣答
T04n0201_p0303a01:王言:「不得信心。何以故?上座比丘留半分
T04n0201_p0303a02:食從坐起去,必以此食與他婦女,我生疑
T04n0201_p0303a03:惑。」王聞是語,兩手覆耳,告大臣曰:「莫作
T04n0201_p0303a04:斯語,汝今莫妄稱量於人。汝無智力,云何
T04n0201_p0303a05:而能分別前人?如佛言曰:『若妄稱[1]量眾
T04n0201_p0303a06:生,必為自傷。』汝莫作是顛倒邪見。」即說偈
