T02n0099_p0022b24:母,令得[6]樂離苦。世尊!我作如是,為多

佛告欝多羅:「實有多福。所以者何?若
T02n0099_p0022b26:有如法乞求,供養父母,令其安樂,除苦
T02n0099_p0022b27:惱者,實有大福。」爾時,世尊即說偈言:

佛告優波
T02n0099_p0022c08:迦:「我不一向稱歎,或有邪盛大會可稱
T02n0099_p0022c09:歎,或有邪盛大會不可稱歎。」
優波迦白佛:
T02n0099_p0022c10:「何等邪盛大會可稱歎?何等邪盛大會不可
T02n0099_p0022c11:稱歎?」
佛告優波迦:「若邪盛大會繫群少特
T02n0099_p0022c12:牛、水特、水牸,及諸羊犢、小小眾生悉皆傷殺,
T02n0099_p0022c13:逼迫苦切,僕使作人,鞭笞恐怛,悲泣號呼,
T02n0099_p0022c14:不喜不樂,眾苦作役。如是等邪盛大會,
T02n0099_p0022c15:我不稱歎,以造大難故。若復大會不繫
T02n0099_p0022c16:縛群牛,乃至不令眾生辛苦作役者。如是
T02n0099_p0022c17:邪盛大會,我所稱歎,以不造大難故。爾時,

T02n0099_p0023a25:在家當行幾法,得現法安及現法樂?」
佛告
T02n0099_p0023a26:婆羅門:「有四法,俗人在家得現法安、現法
T02n0099_p0023a27:樂。何等為四?謂方便具[3]足、守護具足、善知
T02n0099_p0023a28:識具足、正命具足。
「何等為方便具足?謂善男
T02n0099_p0023a29:子種種工巧業處以自營生,謂種田、商賈,
T02n0099_p0023b01:或以王事,或以書䟽算畫。於彼彼工巧業
T02n0099_p0023b02:處精勤修行,是名方便具足。
「何等為守護
T02n0099_p0023b03:具足?謂善男子所有錢穀,方便所得,自手執
T02n0099_p0023b04:作,如法而得,能極守護,不令王、賊、水、火劫
T02n0099_p0023b05:奪漂沒[4]令失,不善守護者[5]亡失,不愛念者
T02n0099_p0023b06:輒取,及諸災患所壞,是名善男子[6]善守護。
T02n0099_p0023b07:「何等為善知識具足?若有善男子不落度、
T02n0099_p0023b08:不放逸、不虛妄、不凶險,如是知識能善
T02n0099_p0023b09:安慰,未生憂苦能令不生,已生憂苦能令
T02n0099_p0023b10:開覺,未生喜樂能令速生,已生喜樂護令不
T02n0099_p0023b11:失,是名善男子善知識具足。
「云何為正命
T02n0099_p0023b12:具足?謂善男子所有錢財出內稱量,周圓掌
T02n0099_p0023b13:護,不令多入少出也、多出少入也。如執[7]
T02n0099_p0023b14:秤者,少則增之,多則減之,知平而捨。如是,
T02n0099_p0023b15:善男子稱量財物,等入等出,莫令入多出
T02n0099_p0023b16:少、出多入少,若善男子無有錢財而廣散
T02n0099_p0023b17:用,以此生活,人皆名為優曇鉢[8]果,無有種
T02n0099_p0023b18:子,愚癡[9]貪欲,不顧其後。或有善男子財
T02n0099_p0023b19:物豐多,不能食用,傍人皆言是愚癡人如
T02n0099_p0023b20:餓死狗。是故,善男子所有錢財[10]能自稱量,
T02n0099_p0023b21:等入等出,是名正命具足。如是,婆羅門!四
T02n0099_p0023b22:法成就,現法安、現法樂。」
婆羅門白佛言:「世
T02n0099_p0023b23:尊!在家之人有幾法,能令後世安、後世
T02n0099_p0023b24:樂?」
佛告婆羅門:「在家之人有四法,能令後
T02n0099_p0023b25:世安、後世樂。何等為四?謂信具足、戒具足、
T02n0099_p0023b26:施具足、慧具足。
「何等為信具足?謂善男子
T02n0099_p0023b27:於如來所,得信敬心,建立信本,非諸天、魔、
T02n0099_p0023b28:梵及餘世人同法所壞,是名善男子信具足。
T02n0099_p0023b29:「何等戒具足?謂善男子不殺生、不偷盜、不邪
T02n0099_p0023c01:婬、不妄語、不飲酒,是名戒具足。
「云何施具
T02n0099_p0023c02:足?謂善男子離慳[11]垢心,在於居家,行解
T02n0099_p0023c03:脫施,常自手與,樂修行捨,等心行施,是名
T02n0099_p0023c04:善男子施具足。
「云何為慧具足?謂善男子苦
T02n0099_p0023c05:聖諦如實知,[12]習、滅、道聖諦如實知,是名善
T02n0099_p0023c06:男子慧具足。若善男子在家行此四法者,
T02n0099_p0023c07:能得後世安、後世樂。」
爾時,世尊復說偈言:

T02n0099_p0023c21:點能說者,七世相承悉皆清淨;為婆羅門
T02n0099_p0023c22:師,言論通達,諸論記典悉了萬名,解法
T02n0099_p0023c23:優劣,分[16]明[17]諸,句句記說,容貌端正。或生
T02n0099_p0023c24:志高、族姓志高、容色志高、聰明志高、財富
T02n0099_p0023c25:志高,不敬父母、諸尊、師長。聞沙門瞿曇在
T02n0099_p0023c26:拘薩羅國人間遊行,至舍衛國祇樹給孤獨
T02n0099_p0023c27:園。聞已,作是念:「我當往彼沙門瞿曇所,若
T02n0099_p0023c28:有所說,我當共論;無所說者,默然而還。」
時,
T02n0099_p0023c29:憍慢婆羅門乘白馬車,諸年少婆羅門前後
T02n0099_p0024a01:導從,持金柄傘蓋,手執金瓶,往見世尊。

爾時,世尊與諸大眾
T02n0099_p0024a03:圍遶說法,不時顧念憍慢婆羅門。

T02n0099_p0024a04:婆羅門作是念:「沙門瞿曇不顧念我,且

爾時,世尊知憍慢婆羅門心念,而

T02n0099_p0024a07:T02n0099_p0024a09:時,憍慢婆羅門作是念:「沙門瞿曇已知我心。」
T02n0099_p0024a10:欲修敬禮。
爾時,世尊告憍慢婆羅門:「止!
T02n0099_p0024a11:止!不須作禮,心淨已足。」
時,諸大眾咸各
T02n0099_p0024a12:高聲唱言:「奇哉!世尊!大德大力。今此憍慢
T02n0099_p0024a13:婆羅門恃生憍慢、族姓憍慢、容色憍慢、聰
T02n0099_p0024a14:明憍慢、財富憍慢,不敬父母、諸尊、師長,今
T02n0099_p0024a15:於沙門瞿曇所謙卑下下,欲接足禮。」
時,
T02n0099_p0024a16:憍慢婆羅門於大眾前唱令靜默,而說偈

T02n0099_p0024b01:天功德,愛欲味患煩惱,清淨、出要、遠離,諸清
T02n0099_p0024b02:淨分……如是廣說。如白淨衣無諸黑惡,速受
T02n0099_p0024b03:染色,憍慢婆羅門[A1]即於座上解四聖諦——苦、
T02n0099_p0024b04:[*]習、滅、道,得無間等。
時,憍慢婆羅門見法、
T02n0099_p0024b05:得法、知法、入法,度諸疑惑,不由他度,於
T02n0099_p0024b06:正法中得無所畏。即從座起,整衣服,為
T02n0099_p0024b07:佛作禮,合掌白佛:「我今可得於正法中
T02n0099_p0024b08:出家、受具足不?」
佛告憍慢婆羅門:「汝今
T02n0099_p0024b09:可得於正法中出家、受具足。」
彼即出家,獨
T02n0099_p0024b10:[3]正思惟:「所以善男子剃除鬚髮,著袈裟
T02n0099_p0024b11:衣,正信非家,出家學道……。」得阿羅漢,心善
T02n0099_p0024b12:解脫。

時,有[5]長身婆
T02n0099_p0024b15:羅門,作如是邪盛大會——以七百特牛行列
T02n0099_p0024b16:繫柱,特、牸、水牛及諸羊犢、種種小蟲悉皆
T02n0099_p0024b17:繫縛,辦諸飲食、廣行布施,種種外道從諸
T02n0099_p0024b18:國國皆悉來集邪盛會所。
時,長身婆羅門
T02n0099_p0024b19:聞沙門瞿曇從拘薩羅人間遊行,至舍衛
T02n0099_p0024b20:國祇樹給孤獨園。作是念:「我今辦邪盛大
T02n0099_p0024b21:會,所以七百特牛行列繫柱,乃至小小諸
T02n0099_p0024b22:虫皆悉繫縛。為邪盛大會故,種種異道從
T02n0099_p0024b23:諸國國來至會所。我今當往沙門瞿曇所
T02n0099_p0024b24:問邪盛法,莫令我作邪盛大會分數中有
T02n0099_p0024b25:所短少。」作是念已,乘白馬車,諸年少婆羅
T02n0099_p0024b26:門前後導從,持金柄傘蓋,執金澡瓶,出
T02n0099_p0024b27:舍衛城,詣世尊所,恭敬承事。至精舍門,下
T02n0099_p0024b28:車步進,至於佛前,面相問訊慰勞已,退坐
T02n0099_p0024b29:一面,白佛言:「瞿曇!我今欲作邪盛大會,
T02n0099_p0024c01:以七百特牛行列繫柱,乃至小小諸蟲皆
T02n0099_p0024c02:悉繫縛。為邪盛大會故,種種異道從諸
T02n0099_p0024c03:國國皆悉來至邪盛會所。又聞瞿曇從拘
T02n0099_p0024c04:薩羅人間遊行,至舍衛國祇樹給孤獨園。
T02n0099_p0024c05:我今故來請問瞿曇邪盛大會法諸物分
T02n0099_p0024c06:數,莫令我所作邪盛大會諸分數之中有
T02n0099_p0024c07:所短少。」
佛告婆羅門:「或有一邪盛大會
T02n0099_p0024c08:主行施作福而生於罪,為三刀劍之所刻
T02n0099_p0024c09:削,得不善果報。何等三?謂身刀劍、口刀
T02n0099_p0024c10:劍、意刀劍。
「何等為意刀劍生諸苦報?如
T02n0099_p0024c11:一會主造作大會,作是思惟:『我作邪盛大
T02n0099_p0024c12:會,當殺爾所少壯特牛,爾所水特、水牸,爾
T02n0099_p0024c13:所羊犢及種種諸蟲。』是名意刀劍生諸苦
T02n0099_p0024c14:報。如是施主雖念作種種布施、種種供養,
T02n0099_p0024c15:實生於罪!
「云何為口刀劍生諸苦報?有一
T02n0099_p0024c16:會主造作大會,作如是教:『我今作邪盛大
T02n0099_p0024c17:會,汝等當殺爾所少壯特牛,乃至殺害爾
T02n0099_p0024c18:所微細蟲。』是名口刀劍生諸苦報,大會主
T02n0099_p0024c19:雖作是布施、供養,實生於罪!
「云何為身
T02n0099_p0024c20:刀劍生諸苦報?謂有一大會主造作大會,
T02n0099_p0024c21:自手傷殺爾所特牛,乃至殺害種種細蟲,
T02n0099_p0024c22:是名身刀劍生諸苦報。彼大會主雖作是
T02n0099_p0024c23:念種種布施、種種供養,實生於罪!
「然婆羅
T02n0099_p0024c24:門當勤供養三火,隨時恭敬,禮拜奉事,施
T02n0099_p0024c25:其安樂。何等為三?一者根本,二者居家,三
T02n0099_p0024c26:者福田。
「何者為根本[6]火,隨時恭敬,奉事供養,
T02n0099_p0024c27:施其安樂?謂善男子方便得財,手足勤苦,
T02n0099_p0024c28:如法所得,供養父母,令得安樂,是名根本
T02n0099_p0024c29:火。何故名為根本?若善男子從彼而生,
T02n0099_p0025a01:所謂父母,故名根本。善男子以崇本故,
T02n0099_p0025a02:隨時恭敬,奉事供養,施以安樂。
「何等為居
T02n0099_p0025a03:家火,善男子隨時育[1]養,施以安樂?謂
T02n0099_p0025a04:善男子方便得財,手足勤苦,如法所得,供
T02n0099_p0025a05:給妻子、宗親、眷屬、僕使、傭客,隨時給與,恭敬
T02n0099_p0025a06:施安,是名家火。何故名[2]家?其善男子處
T02n0099_p0025a07:於居家,樂則同樂,苦則同苦,在所為作皆
T02n0099_p0025a08:相順從,故名為[3]家。是故善男子隨時供
T02n0099_p0025a09:給,施與安樂。
「何等名田火,善男子隨時恭
T02n0099_p0025a10:敬,尊重供養,施其安樂?謂善男子方便
T02n0099_p0025a11:得財,手足勤勞,如法所得,奉事供養諸沙
T02n0099_p0025a12:門、婆羅門,善能調伏貪、恚、癡者,如是等沙
T02n0099_p0025a13:門、婆羅門,建立福田,崇向增進,樂分樂報,
T02n0099_p0025a14:未來生天,是名田火。何故名田?為世福田,
T02n0099_p0025a15:謂為應供,是故名田。是善男子隨時恭敬,
T02n0099_p0025a16:奉事供養,施其安樂。」爾時,世尊復說偈
T02n0099_p0025a17:言:
T02n0099_p0025a18:T02n0099_p0025a19:T02n0099_p0025a20:T02n0099_p0025a21:T02n0099_p0025a22: T02n0099_p0025a23:「然,婆羅門!今善男子[4]先所供養三火應斷
T02n0099_p0025a24:令滅。何等為三?謂貪欲火、瞋恚火、愚癡火。
T02n0099_p0025a25:所以者何?若貪火不斷不滅者,自害害他,自
T02n0099_p0025a26:他俱害,現法得罪,後世得罪,現法後世得
T02n0099_p0025a27:罪,緣彼而生心法憂苦,恚火、癡火亦復如
T02n0099_p0025a28:是。婆羅門!若善男子事積薪火,隨時辛苦,
T02n0099_p0025a29:隨時然,隨時滅火因緣受苦。」
爾時,長身婆羅
T02n0099_p0025b01:門默然而住。
時,有婆羅門子名欝多羅,
T02n0099_p0025b02:於會中坐。
長身婆羅門須臾默然,思惟已,
T02n0099_p0025b03:告欝多羅:「汝能往至邪盛會所,放彼繫柱
T02n0099_p0025b04:特牛及諸眾生受繫縛者,悉[5]皆放不?而告
T02n0099_p0025b05:之言:『長身婆羅門語汝:「隨意自在,山澤
T02n0099_p0025b06:曠野,食不斷草,飲淨流水,四方風中受
T02n0099_p0025b07:諸快樂。」』」
欝多羅白言:「隨大師教!」即往彼
T02n0099_p0025b08:邪盛會所放諸眾生,而告之言:「長身婆羅
T02n0099_p0025b09:門語汝:『隨其所樂,山澤曠野,飲水食草,
T02n0099_p0025b10:四風自適。』」
爾時,世尊知欝多羅。知已,為長
T02n0099_p0025b11:身婆羅門種種說法,示、教、照、喜。如律,世尊
T02n0099_p0025b12:說法先後,說戒、說施及生天功德,愛欲味
T02n0099_p0025b13:患,出要、清淨、煩惱清淨,開示[6]現顯。譬如
T02n0099_p0025b14:鮮淨白㲲易受染色,長身婆羅門亦復如
T02n0099_p0025b15:是,即於座上見四真諦,得無間等。
時,長
T02n0099_p0025b16:身婆羅門見法、得法、知法、入法,度諸疑
T02n0099_p0025b17:惑,不由他度,於正法中得無所畏。即從
T02n0099_p0025b18:座起,[7]整衣服,偏袒右肩,合掌白佛:「已度,
T02n0099_p0025b19:世尊!我從今日盡其壽命,歸佛、歸法、歸比
T02n0099_p0025b20:丘僧,為優婆塞,證知我。[8]唯願世尊與諸
T02n0099_p0025b21:大眾受我飯食。爾時,世尊默然而許。」
時,長
T02n0099_p0025b22:身婆羅門知佛受請已,為佛作禮,右繞
T02n0099_p0025b23:三匝而去。長身婆羅門還邪盛處,[9]作諸
T02n0099_p0025b24:供辦淨美好者,布置床座,遣使請佛,白
T02n0099_p0025b25:言:「時到,惟聖知時。」
爾時,世尊著衣持鉢,
T02n0099_p0025b26:大眾圍繞,往到長身婆羅門會所,大眾前
T02n0099_p0025b27:坐。
時,長身婆羅門知世尊坐定已,手自供
T02n0099_p0025b28:養種種飲食。食已,澡漱洗鉢畢,別敷卑床,
T02n0099_p0025b29:於大眾前端坐聽法。
爾時,世尊為長身婆

佛告婆
T02n0099_p0025c06:羅門:「譬猶如月。」
婆羅門復問:「善男子云何可
T02n0099_p0025c07:知?」
佛告婆羅門:「譬猶如月。」
婆羅門白佛:
T02n0099_p0025c08:「云何不善男子如月?」
佛告婆羅門:「如月黑
T02n0099_p0025c09:分,光明亦失,色亦失,所係亦失,日夜消[11]滅,
T02n0099_p0025c10:乃至不現。如是,有人於如來所,得信[12]家
T02n0099_p0025c11:心,受持淨戒,善學多聞,損己布施,正見真
T02n0099_p0025c12:實。於如來所淨信、持戒、惠施、多聞、正見真
T02n0099_p0025c13:[13]直已,然後退失,於戒、聞、施、正見悉皆忘失,
T02n0099_p0025c14:日夜消[*]滅,乃至須臾,一切忘失。
「復次,婆羅
T02n0099_p0025c15:門!若善男子不習近善知識,不數聞法,
T02n0099_p0025c16:不正思惟,身行惡行,口行惡行,意行惡
T02n0099_p0025c17:行。行惡因緣故,身壞命終,墮惡趣泥[14]梨
T02n0099_p0025c18:中。如是,婆羅門!不善男子其譬如月。」

T02n0099_p0025c19:羅門白佛:「云何善男子其譬如月?」
佛告
T02n0099_p0025c20:婆羅門:「譬如明月淨分光明,色澤日夜增
T02n0099_p0025c21:明,乃至月滿,一切圓淨。如是,善男子於如
T02n0099_p0025c22:來法、律得淨信心,乃至正見真淨增明,戒
T02n0099_p0025c23:增、施增、聞增、慧增,日夜增長;復於餘時親
T02n0099_p0025c24:近善知識,聞說正法,內正思惟,行身善
T02n0099_p0025c25:行,行口善行,行意善行故,以是因緣,身
T02n0099_p0025c26:壞命終,化生天上。婆羅門!是故善男子譬
T02n0099_p0025c27:如月。」
爾時,世尊而說偈言:

T02n0099_p0026a08:我聞瞿曇說言:『唯應施我,不應施餘人;
T02n0099_p0026a09:施我得大果,非施餘人而得大果。應施
T02n0099_p0026a10:我弟子,不應施餘弟子;施我弟子得大果

T02n0099_p0026a21:障施者施、障受者利。婆羅門乃至士夫,以

佛告婆羅門:「汝今可得於正法
