復有萬梵,持髻梵王而為上首,
T14n0476_p0558a25:從本無憂四大洲界為欲瞻禮供養世尊
T14n0476_p0558a26:及聽法故來在會坐;復有[3]萬二千天帝,各
T14n0476_p0558a27:從餘方四大洲界亦為瞻禮供養世尊及
T14n0476_p0558a28:聽法故來在會坐;并餘大威力諸天、龍、藥
T14n0476_p0558a29:叉、健達縛、阿素洛、揭路荼、緊捺洛、莫呼洛
T14n0476_p0558b01:伽、釋、梵、護世等悉來會坐;及諸四眾——苾芻、
T14n0476_p0558b02:苾芻尼、鄔波索迦、鄔波斯迦——俱來會坐。
T14n0476_p0558b03:爾時,世尊無量百千諸來大眾恭敬圍繞而
T14n0476_p0558b04:為說法——譬如大寶妙高山王處于大海巍然
T14n0476_p0558b05:逈出——踞大師子勝藏之座,顯耀威光蔽諸大
T14n0476_p0558b06:眾。
時廣嚴城有一菩薩,離呫毘種,名曰寶
T14n0476_p0558b07:性,與離呫毘五百童子各持一蓋,七寶莊
T14n0476_p0558b08:嚴,往菴羅林詣如來所,各以其蓋奉上世
T14n0476_p0558b09:尊,奉已頂禮世尊雙足,右繞七匝却住一
T14n0476_p0558b10:面。
佛之威神令諸寶蓋合成一蓋,遍覆三
T14n0476_p0558b11:千大千世界,而此世界廣長之相悉於中現。
T14n0476_p0558b12:又,此三千大千世界所有大寶妙高山王、一
T14n0476_p0558b13:切雪山、目真隣陀山、摩訶目真隣陀山、香山、
T14n0476_p0558b14:寶山、金山、黑山、輪圍山、大輪圍山、大海、江
T14n0476_p0558b15:河、陂泉、池沼,及百[4]俱胝四大洲渚、日、月、星
T14n0476_p0558b16:辰、天宮、龍宮、諸尊神宮,并諸國邑、王都、聚落,
T14n0476_p0558b17:如是皆現此寶蓋中。
又,十方界諸佛、如來所
T14n0476_p0558b18:說正法皆如響應,於此蓋內無不見聞。
T14n0476_p0558b19:時諸大眾覩佛神力,歡喜踊躍,歎未曾有,合
T14n0476_p0558b20:掌禮佛瞻仰尊顏,目不暫捨默然而住。
T14n0476_p0558b21:爾時,寶性即於佛前右膝著地,合掌恭敬,
T14n0476_p0558b22:以妙伽他而讚佛曰:

T14n0476_p0559a06:羅三藐三菩提,彼咸問我嚴淨佛土。[1]唯願
T14n0476_p0559a07:如來哀愍,為說淨佛土相。云何菩薩修淨佛
T14n0476_p0559a08:土?」
作是語已,佛言:「寶性!善哉善哉,汝今乃
T14n0476_p0559a09:能為諸菩薩請問如來淨佛土相及問菩
T14n0476_p0559a10:薩修淨佛土。汝今諦聽,善思念之,當為汝
T14n0476_p0559a11:等分別解說。」
於是寶性及諸菩薩咸作是
T14n0476_p0559a12:言:「善哉,世尊!唯願為說,我等今者[2]皆希聽
T14n0476_p0559a13:受。」
爾時,世尊告眾菩薩:「諸有情土是為菩
T14n0476_p0559a14:薩嚴淨佛土。所以者何?諸善男子!一切菩薩
T14n0476_p0559a15:隨諸有情增長饒益,即便攝受嚴淨佛土;
T14n0476_p0559a16:隨諸有情發起種種清淨功德,即便攝受
T14n0476_p0559a17:嚴淨佛土;隨諸有情應以如是嚴淨佛土
T14n0476_p0559a18:而得調伏,即便攝受如是佛土;隨諸有情
T14n0476_p0559a19:應以如是嚴淨佛土悟入佛智,即便攝受
T14n0476_p0559a20:如是佛土;隨諸有情應以如是嚴淨佛
T14n0476_p0559a21:土起聖根行,即便攝受如是佛土。所以者
T14n0476_p0559a22:何?諸善男子!菩薩攝受嚴淨佛土,皆為有
T14n0476_p0559a23:情增長、饒益、發起種種清淨功德。諸善男
T14n0476_p0559a24:子!譬如有人欲於空地造立宮室,或復
T14n0476_p0559a25:莊嚴隨意無礙,若於虛空終不能成。菩薩
T14n0476_p0559a26:如是,知一切法皆如虛空,唯為有情增長、
T14n0476_p0559a27:饒益、生淨功德,即便攝受如是佛土。攝受
T14n0476_p0559a28:如是淨佛土者非於空也。
T14n0476_p0559a29:「復次,寶性!汝等當知:發起無上菩提心土
T14n0476_p0559b01:是為菩薩嚴淨佛土,菩薩證得大菩提時,
T14n0476_p0559b02:一切發[3]起大乘有情來生其國;純意樂土
T14n0476_p0559b03:是為菩薩嚴淨佛土,菩薩證得大菩提時,
T14n0476_p0559b04:所有不諂、不誑有情來生其國;善加行土是
T14n0476_p0559b05:為菩薩嚴淨佛土,菩薩證得大菩提時,發
T14n0476_p0559b06:起[4]住持妙善加行一切有情來生其國;上意
T14n0476_p0559b07:樂土是為菩薩嚴淨佛土,菩薩證得大菩
T14n0476_p0559b08:提時,具足成就善法有情來生其國;修布施
T14n0476_p0559b09:土是為菩薩嚴淨佛土,菩薩證得大菩提
T14n0476_p0559b10:時,一切能捨財法有情來生其國;修淨戒土
T14n0476_p0559b11:是為菩薩嚴淨佛土,菩薩證得大菩提時,
T14n0476_p0559b12:圓滿成就十善業道意樂有情來生其國;修
T14n0476_p0559b13:安忍土是為菩薩嚴淨佛土,菩薩證得大菩
T14n0476_p0559b14:提時,三十二相莊嚴其身、堪忍柔和寂靜有
T14n0476_p0559b15:情來生其國;修精進土是為菩薩嚴淨佛
T14n0476_p0559b16:土,菩薩證得大菩提時,諸善勇猛精進有
T14n0476_p0559b17:情來生其國;修靜慮土是為菩薩嚴淨佛
T14n0476_p0559b18:土,菩薩證得大菩提時,具足成就正念、正知、
T14n0476_p0559b19:正定有情來生其國;修般若土是為菩薩嚴
T14n0476_p0559b20:淨佛土,菩薩證得大菩提時,一切已入正定
T14n0476_p0559b21:有情來生其國;四無量土是為菩薩嚴淨佛
T14n0476_p0559b22:土,菩薩證得大菩提時,常住慈悲喜捨有情
T14n0476_p0559b23:來生其國;四攝事土是為菩薩嚴淨佛土,
T14n0476_p0559b24:菩薩證得大菩提時,諸有解脫所攝有情來
T14n0476_p0559b25:生其國;巧方便土是為菩薩嚴淨佛土,菩薩
T14n0476_p0559b26:證得大菩提時,善巧觀察諸法有情來生其
T14n0476_p0559b27:國;修三十七菩提分土是為菩薩嚴淨佛土,
T14n0476_p0559b28:菩薩證得大菩提時,通達一切念住、正斷、神
T14n0476_p0559b29:足、根、力、覺支、道支圓滿有情來生其國;修迴
T14n0476_p0559c01:向土是為菩薩嚴淨佛土,菩薩證得大菩
T14n0476_p0559c02:提時,其國具足眾德莊嚴;善說息除八無暇
T14n0476_p0559c03:土是為菩薩嚴淨佛土,菩薩證得大菩提
T14n0476_p0559c04:時,其國永離惡趣無暇;自守戒行不譏彼土
T14n0476_p0559c05:是為菩薩嚴淨佛土,菩薩證得大菩提時,
T14n0476_p0559c06:其國無有犯禁之名;十善業道極清淨土是
T14n0476_p0559c07:為菩薩嚴淨佛土,菩薩證得大菩提時,壽
T14n0476_p0559c08:量決定大富梵行、所言誠諦、常以軟語、眷屬
T14n0476_p0559c09:不離、善宣密意、離諸貪欲、心無瞋恚、正見有
T14n0476_p0559c10:情來生其國。
T14n0476_p0559c11:「諸善男子!如是,菩薩隨發菩提心則有純
T14n0476_p0559c12:淨意樂,隨其純淨意樂則有妙善加行,隨
T14n0476_p0559c13:其妙善加行則有增上意樂,隨其增上意
T14n0476_p0559c14:樂則有止息,隨其止息則有發起,隨其發
T14n0476_p0559c15:起則有迴向,隨其迴向則有寂靜,隨其寂
T14n0476_p0559c16:靜則有清淨有情,隨其清淨有情則有嚴
T14n0476_p0559c17:淨佛土,隨其嚴淨佛土則有清淨法教,隨
T14n0476_p0559c18:其清淨法教即有清淨妙福,隨其清淨妙
T14n0476_p0559c19:福則有清淨妙慧,隨其清淨妙慧則有清
T14n0476_p0559c20:淨妙智,隨其清淨妙智則有清淨妙行,隨
T14n0476_p0559c21:其清淨妙行則有清淨自心,隨其清淨自
T14n0476_p0559c22:心則有清淨諸妙功德。
T14n0476_p0559c23:「諸善男子!是故,菩薩若欲勤修嚴淨佛土,
T14n0476_p0559c24:先應方便嚴淨自心。所以者何?隨諸菩薩
T14n0476_p0559c25:自心嚴淨,即得如是嚴淨佛土。」
T14n0476_p0559c26:爾時,舍利子承佛威神作如是念:「若諸菩
T14n0476_p0559c27:薩心嚴淨故,佛土嚴淨;而我世尊行菩薩時
T14n0476_p0559c28:心不嚴淨故,是佛土雜穢若此?」
佛知其念
T14n0476_p0559c29:即告之言:「於意云何?世間日、月豈不淨耶?
T14n0476_p0560a01:而[1]盲不見。」
對曰:「不也。是盲者過,非日月咎。」
T14n0476_p0560a02:佛言:「如是,眾生罪故不見世尊佛土嚴淨,
T14n0476_p0560a03:非如來咎。舍利子!我土嚴淨而汝不見。」
T14n0476_p0560a04:爾時,持髻梵王語舍利子:「勿作是意謂此
T14n0476_p0560a05:佛土為不嚴淨。所以者何?如是佛土最極嚴
T14n0476_p0560a06:淨。」
舍利子言:「大梵天王!今此佛土嚴淨云何?」
T14n0476_p0560a07:持髻梵言:「[2]唯,舍利子!譬如他化自在天宮
T14n0476_p0560a08:有無量寶功德莊嚴,我見世尊釋迦牟尼佛
T14n0476_p0560a09:土嚴淨有無量寶功德莊嚴亦復如是。」
舍
T14n0476_p0560a10:利子言:「大梵天王!我見此土其地高下——丘
T14n0476_p0560a11:陵、坑坎、毒刺、沙礫、土石、諸山——穢惡充滿。」
持髻
T14n0476_p0560a12:梵言:「唯,大尊者!心有高下不嚴淨故,謂佛
T14n0476_p0560a13:智慧意樂亦爾,故見佛土為不嚴淨。若諸
T14n0476_p0560a14:菩薩於諸有情其心平等、功德嚴淨,謂佛智
T14n0476_p0560a15:慧意樂亦爾,便見佛土最極嚴淨。」
爾時,世尊
T14n0476_p0560a16:知諸大眾心懷猶豫,便以足指按此大地。
T14n0476_p0560a17:即時三千大千世界無量百千妙寶莊嚴,譬
T14n0476_p0560a18:如功德寶莊嚴佛無量功德寶莊嚴土。一切
T14n0476_p0560a19:大眾歎未曾有,而皆自見坐寶蓮華。
T14n0476_p0560a20:爾時,世尊告舍利子:「汝見如是眾德莊嚴淨
T14n0476_p0560a21:佛土不?」
舍利子言:「唯然,世尊!本所不見、本
T14n0476_p0560a22:所不聞,今此佛土嚴淨悉現。」
告舍利子:「我
T14n0476_p0560a23:佛國土常淨若此,為欲成熟下劣有情,是
T14n0476_p0560a24:故示現無量過失雜穢土耳。舍利子!譬如
T14n0476_p0560a25:三十三天共寶器食,隨業所招其食有異。
T14n0476_p0560a26:如是,舍利子!無量有情生一佛土,隨心淨
T14n0476_p0560a27:穢所見有異,若人心淨便見此土無量功德
T14n0476_p0560a28:妙寶莊嚴。」
當佛現此嚴淨土時,寶性所將
T14n0476_p0560a29:五百童子一切皆得無生法忍、八萬四千諸
T14n0476_p0560b01:有情類皆發無上正等覺心。
時佛、世尊即攝
T14n0476_p0560b02:神足,於是世界還復如故。求聲聞乘三萬
T14n0476_p0560b03:二千諸天及人,知有為法皆悉無常,遠塵離
T14n0476_p0560b04:垢得法眼淨;八千苾芻永離諸漏,心善解脫。
[3]說無垢稱經顯不思議方便善巧品第二
T14n0476_p0560b06:爾時,廣嚴城中有大菩薩,離呫毘種,名無垢
T14n0476_p0560b07:稱,已曾供養無量諸佛,於諸佛所深[4]殖善
T14n0476_p0560b08:根,得妙辯才、具無生忍、逮諸總持、遊戲神
T14n0476_p0560b09:通,獲無所畏摧魔怨力。入深法門善於智
T14n0476_p0560b10:度,通達方便大願成滿,明了有情意樂及
T14n0476_p0560b11:行,善知有情諸根勝劣。智度成辦,說法淳熟,
T14n0476_p0560b12:於大乘中決定修習,於所作業能善思量。
T14n0476_p0560b13:住佛威儀,入心慧海,諸佛咨嗟稱揚顯說,
T14n0476_p0560b14:釋、梵、護世常所禮敬,為欲成熟諸有情故,
T14n0476_p0560b15:以善方便居廣嚴城。具無盡財,攝益貧窮、
T14n0476_p0560b16:無依、無怙;具清淨戒,攝益一切有犯有越;
T14n0476_p0560b17:以調順忍攝益瞋恨、暴嫉、楚毒;以大精進
T14n0476_p0560b18:攝益一切懈怠懶惰;安住靜慮、正念解脫、等
T14n0476_p0560b19:持等至,攝益一切諸有亂心;以正決擇攝
T14n0476_p0560b20:益一切妄見、惡慧。雖為白衣而具沙門威
T14n0476_p0560b21:儀功德,雖處居家不著三界,示有妻子
T14n0476_p0560b22:常修梵行,現有眷屬常樂遠離。雖服寶
T14n0476_p0560b23:飾而以相好莊嚴其身、雖現受食而以
T14n0476_p0560b24:靜慮等至為味、雖同樂著博弈嬉戲而實
T14n0476_p0560b25:恒為成熟有情、雖稟一切外道軌儀而於
T14n0476_p0560b26:佛法意樂不壞、雖明一切世間書論而於
T14n0476_p0560b27:內苑賞玩法樂、雖現一切邑會眾中而恒
T14n0476_p0560b28:[5]為最說法上首。
為隨世教於尊卑等所
T14n0476_p0560b29:作事業示無與乖,雖不希求世間財寶,然
T14n0476_p0560c01:於俗利示有所習。為益含識遊諸市衢、
T14n0476_p0560c02:為護群生理諸王務、入講論處導以大
T14n0476_p0560c03:乘、入諸學堂誘開童蒙、入諸婬舍示欲之
T14n0476_p0560c04:過,為令建立正念正知遊諸伎樂。若在長
T14n0476_p0560c05:者,長者中尊為說勝法;若在居士,居士中
T14n0476_p0560c06:尊斷其貪著;若在剎帝利,剎帝利中尊教
T14n0476_p0560c07:以忍辱;若在婆羅門,婆羅門中尊除其我
T14n0476_p0560c08:慢;若在大臣,大臣中尊教以正法;若在王
T14n0476_p0560c09:子,王子中尊示以忠孝;若在內官,內官中尊
T14n0476_p0560c10:化正宮女;若在庶人,庶人中尊修相似福
T14n0476_p0560c11:殊勝意樂;若在梵天,梵天中尊示諸梵眾
T14n0476_p0560c12:靜慮差別;若在帝釋,帝釋中尊示現自在
T14n0476_p0560c13:悉皆無常;若在護世,護世中尊守護一切
T14n0476_p0560c14:利益安樂。
是無垢稱以如是等不可思議無
T14n0476_p0560c15:量善巧方便慧門饒益有情,其以方便現
T14n0476_p0560c16:身有疾。以其疾故,國王、大臣、長者、居士、婆
T14n0476_p0560c17:羅門等,及諸王子并餘官屬無數千人,皆往
T14n0476_p0560c18:問疾。
時無垢稱因以身疾廣為說法,言:「諸
T14n0476_p0560c19:仁者!是四大種所合成身,無常、無強、無堅、無
T14n0476_p0560c20:力。朽故迅速,不可保信,為苦、為惱、眾病之
T14n0476_p0560c21:器,多諸過患、變壞之法。諸仁者!如此之身,
T14n0476_p0560c22:其聰慧者所不為怙。是身如聚沫不可
T14n0476_p0560c23:撮摩、是身如浮泡不得久立、是身如陽
T14n0476_p0560c24:焰從諸煩惱渴愛所生、是身如芭蕉[6]都
T14n0476_p0560c25:無有實、是身如幻從顛倒起、是身如夢
T14n0476_p0560c26:為虛妄見、是身如影從業緣現、是身如響
T14n0476_p0560c27:屬諸因緣、是身如雲須臾變滅、是身如電
T14n0476_p0560c28:念念不住、是身無主為如地、是身無我
T14n0476_p0560c29:為如水、是身無有情為如火、是身無命
T14n0476_p0561a01:者為如風、是身無有補特伽羅與虛空
T14n0476_p0561a02:等、是身不實四大為家、是身為空離我
T14n0476_p0561a03:我所、是身無知如草木等、是身無作風力
T14n0476_p0561a04:所轉、是身不淨穢惡充滿、是身虛偽雖假
T14n0476_p0561a05:覆蔽飲食將養必歸磨滅、是身多患四百四
T14n0476_p0561a06:病之所集成、是身易壞如水隧級常為朽
T14n0476_p0561a07:老之所逼迫、是身無定為要當死、是身如
T14n0476_p0561a08:怨害周遍毒蛇之所充滿、是身如空聚諸
T14n0476_p0561a09:蘊界處所共合成。
「諸仁者!於如是身應生
