菩薩摩訶薩八萬人,皆於阿耨
T09n0264_p0135a12:多羅三藐三菩提不退轉,皆得陀羅尼,樂說
T09n0264_p0135a13:辯才,轉不退轉法輪。供養無量百千諸佛,
T09n0264_p0135a14:於諸佛所,[2]殖眾德本,常為諸佛之所稱歎。
T09n0264_p0135a15:以慈修身,善入佛慧。通達大智到於彼岸。名
T09n0264_p0135a16:稱普聞無量世界,能度無數百千眾生。
T09n0264_p0135a17:其名曰:文殊師利菩薩、觀世音菩薩、得大勢
T09n0264_p0135a18:菩薩、常精進菩薩、不休息菩薩、寶掌菩薩、藥
T09n0264_p0135a19:王菩薩、勇施菩薩、寶月菩薩、月光菩薩、滿月

T09n0264_p0135b14:爾時世尊,四眾圍遶,供養、恭敬、尊重、讚歎,為
T09n0264_p0135b15:諸菩薩說大乘經,名《無量義教菩薩法佛所
T09n0264_p0135b16:護念》。佛說此經已,結加趺坐,入於無量義處
T09n0264_p0135b17:三昧,身心不動。是時天雨曼陀羅華、摩訶曼
T09n0264_p0135b18:陀羅華、曼殊沙華、摩訶曼殊沙華,而散佛上
T09n0264_p0135b19:及諸大眾,普佛世界六種[3]振動。
爾時會中,
T09n0264_p0135b20:比丘、比丘尼、優婆塞、優婆夷,天、龍、夜叉、乾闥
T09n0264_p0135b21:婆、阿脩羅、迦樓羅、緊那羅、摩睺羅伽、人非人
T09n0264_p0135b22:等,及諸小王、轉輪聖王,是諸大眾得未曾有,
T09n0264_p0135b23:歡喜合掌一心觀佛。
爾時佛放眉間白毫相
T09n0264_p0135b24:光,照東方萬八千世界靡不周遍,下至阿鼻
T09n0264_p0135b25:地獄,上至阿迦膩吒天,於此世界,盡見彼
T09n0264_p0135b26:土六趣眾生;又見彼土現在諸佛,及聞諸佛
T09n0264_p0135b27:所說經法;并見彼諸比丘、比丘尼、優婆塞、優
T09n0264_p0135b28:婆夷諸修行得道者;復見諸菩薩摩訶薩,種
T09n0264_p0135b29:種因緣、種種信解、種種相貌行菩薩道;復見
T09n0264_p0135c01:諸佛般涅槃者;復見諸佛般涅槃後,以佛
T09n0264_p0135c02:舍利起七寶塔。
爾時彌勒菩薩作是念:「今者
T09n0264_p0135c03:世尊現神變相,以何因緣而有此瑞?今佛世
T09n0264_p0135c04:尊入于三昧,是不可思議現希有事,當以問
T09n0264_p0135c05:誰?誰能答者?」復作此念:「是文殊師利,法王之
T09n0264_p0135c06:子,已曾親近供養過去無量諸佛,必應見此
T09n0264_p0135c07:希有之相,我今當問。」
爾時比丘、比丘尼、優婆
T09n0264_p0135c08:塞、優婆夷,及諸天龍鬼神等,咸作此念:「是佛
T09n0264_p0135c09:光明神通之相,今當問誰?」
爾時彌勒菩薩欲
T09n0264_p0135c10:自決疑,又觀四眾比丘、比丘尼、優婆塞、優婆
T09n0264_p0135c11:夷及諸天、龍、鬼神等眾會之心,而問文殊師
T09n0264_p0135c12:利言:「以何因緣,而有此瑞神通之相,放大光
T09n0264_p0135c13:明照[4]於東方萬八千土,悉見彼佛國界莊嚴?」
T09n0264_p0135c14:於是彌勒菩薩,欲重宣此義,以偈問曰:

T09n0264_p0136c14:諸善男子!我於過去諸佛曾見此瑞,放斯
T09n0264_p0136c15:光已即說大法。是故當知,今佛現光亦復
T09n0264_p0136c16:如是,欲令眾生咸得聞知一切世間難信之
T09n0264_p0136c17:法,故現斯瑞。
「諸善男子!如過去無量無邊
T09n0264_p0136c18:不可思議阿僧祇劫,爾時有佛,號日月燈明
T09n0264_p0136c19:如來、應供、正遍知、明行足、善逝、世間解、無上士、
T09n0264_p0136c20:調御丈夫、天人師、佛、世尊,演說正法,初善、
T09n0264_p0136c21:中善、後善,其義深遠其語巧妙,純一無雜,
T09n0264_p0136c22:具足清白梵行之相。為求聲聞者,說應四諦
T09n0264_p0136c23:法,度生、老、病、死,究竟涅槃;為求辟支佛者,
T09n0264_p0136c24:說應十二因緣法;為諸菩薩,說應六波羅蜜,
T09n0264_p0136c25:令得阿耨多羅三藐三菩提,成一切種智。次
T09n0264_p0136c26:復有佛,亦名日月燈明;次復有佛,亦名日
T09n0264_p0136c27:月燈明;如是二萬佛,皆同一字,號日月燈
T09n0264_p0136c28:明,又同一姓,姓頗羅墮。
「彌勒當知!初佛
T09n0264_p0136c29:後佛皆同一字,名日月燈明,十號具足,所
T09n0264_p0137a01:可說法初、中、後善。其最後佛未出家時,有八
T09n0264_p0137a02:王子:一名有意,二名善意,三名無量意,四名
T09n0264_p0137a03:寶意,五名增意,六名除疑意,七名響意,八名
T09n0264_p0137a04:法意,是八王子,威德自在,各領四天下。是諸
T09n0264_p0137a05:王子,聞父出家得阿耨多羅三藐三菩提,悉
T09n0264_p0137a06:捨王位亦隨出家,發大乘意常修梵行,皆為
T09n0264_p0137a07:法師,已於千萬佛所[*]殖諸善本。
「是時日月燈
T09n0264_p0137a08:明佛說大乘經,名《無量義教菩薩法佛所護
T09n0264_p0137a09:念》;說是經已,即於大眾中結加趺坐,入於無
T09n0264_p0137a10:量義處三昧,身心不動;是時天雨曼陀羅華,
T09n0264_p0137a11:摩訶曼陀羅華,曼殊沙華,摩訶曼殊沙華,而
T09n0264_p0137a12:散佛上及諸大眾,普佛世界六種[1]震動。
「爾
T09n0264_p0137a13:時會中比丘、比丘尼、優婆塞、優婆夷、天、龍、夜
T09n0264_p0137a14:叉、乾闥婆、阿脩羅、迦樓羅、緊那羅、摩睺羅伽、人
T09n0264_p0137a15:非人等,及諸小王、轉輪聖王等,是諸大眾
T09n0264_p0137a16:得未曾有,歡喜合掌一心觀佛。
「爾時如來,
T09n0264_p0137a17:放眉間白毫相光,照東方萬八千佛土,靡不
T09n0264_p0137a18:周遍,如今所見是諸佛土。
「彌勒當知!爾時
T09n0264_p0137a19:會中,有二十億菩薩,樂欲聽法,是諸菩薩,
T09n0264_p0137a20:見此光明普照佛土,得未曾有,欲知此光所
T09n0264_p0137a21:為因緣。時有菩薩,名曰妙光,有八百弟子,
T09n0264_p0137a22:是時日月燈明佛從三昧起,因妙光菩薩說大
T09n0264_p0137a23:乘經,名《妙法蓮華教菩薩法佛所護念》,六十
T09n0264_p0137a24:小劫不起于座;時會聽者,亦坐一處六十小
T09n0264_p0137a25:劫身心不動,聽佛所說謂如食頃。是時眾中,
T09n0264_p0137a26:無有一人若身若心而生懈倦。
「日月燈明佛,
T09n0264_p0137a27:於六十小劫說是經已,即於梵魔沙門婆羅
T09n0264_p0137a28:門及天人阿脩羅眾中,而宣此言:『如來於今
T09n0264_p0137a29:日中夜,當入無餘涅槃。』
「時有菩薩,名曰德藏,
T09n0264_p0137b01:日月燈明佛,即授其記告諸比丘:『是德藏
T09n0264_p0137b02:菩薩,次當作佛,號曰淨身多陀阿伽度、阿羅
T09n0264_p0137b03:訶、三藐三佛陀。』佛授記已,便於中夜入無
T09n0264_p0137b04:餘涅槃。
「佛滅度後,妙光菩薩持《妙法蓮華
T09n0264_p0137b05:經》,滿八十小劫,為人演說。日月燈明佛八
T09n0264_p0137b06:子,皆師妙光,妙光教化,令其堅固阿耨多
T09n0264_p0137b07:羅三藐三菩提;是諸王子,供養無量百千萬
T09n0264_p0137b08:億佛已,皆成佛道。其最後成佛者,名曰然
T09n0264_p0137b09:燈,八百弟子,中有一人,號曰求名,貪著利
T09n0264_p0137b10:養,雖復讀誦眾經,而不通利,多所忘失,故號
T09n0264_p0137b11:求名,是人亦以種諸善根因緣故,得值無量
T09n0264_p0137b12:百千萬億諸佛,供養、恭敬、尊重、讚歎。
「彌勒當
T09n0264_p0137b13:知!爾時妙光菩薩,豈異人乎?我身是也。求名
T09n0264_p0137b14:菩薩,汝身是也。今見此瑞與本無異,是故惟
T09n0264_p0137b15:忖,今日如來,當說大乘經,名《妙法蓮華教菩
T09n0264_p0137b16:薩法佛所護念》。」
爾時文殊師利,於大眾中,欲

T09n0264_p0138b26:精進名稱普聞,成就甚深未曾有法,隨宜所
T09n0264_p0138b27:說意趣難解。舍利弗!吾從成佛已來,種種因
T09n0264_p0138b28:緣種種譬喻,廣演言教無數方便,引導眾生
T09n0264_p0138b29:令離諸著。所以者何?如來方便知見波羅蜜,
T09n0264_p0138c01:皆已具足。舍利弗!如來知見,廣大深遠,無
T09n0264_p0138c02:量無礙,力、無所畏、禪定、解脫、三昧,深入無際,
T09n0264_p0138c03:成就一切未曾有法。舍利弗!如來能種種分
T09n0264_p0138c04:別巧說諸法,言辭柔軟悅可眾心。舍利弗!
T09n0264_p0138c05:取要言之,無量無邊未曾有法,佛悉成就。
T09n0264_p0138c06:止,舍利弗!不須復說。所以者何?佛所成就第
T09n0264_p0138c07:一希有難解之法,惟佛與佛乃能究盡諸法
T09n0264_p0138c08:實相,所謂諸法,如是相、如是性、如是體、如是
T09n0264_p0138c09:力、如是作、如是因、如是緣、如是果、如是報、如是
T09n0264_p0138c10:本末究竟等。」
爾時世尊,欲重宣此義,而說偈

爾時舍利弗,
T09n0264_p0139b03:知四眾心疑,自亦未了,而白佛言:「世尊!何因
T09n0264_p0139b04:何緣,慇懃稱歎諸佛第一方便,甚深微妙難
T09n0264_p0139b05:解之法?我自昔來,未曾從佛聞如是說。今者
T09n0264_p0139b06:四眾咸皆有疑,[1]惟願世尊,敷演斯事。世尊!
T09n0264_p0139b07:何故慇[A4]懃稱歎甚深微妙難解之法?」
爾時舍
T09n0264_p0139b08:利弗,欲重宣此義,而說偈言:

舍利弗重白
T09n0264_p0139c04:佛言:「世尊!惟願說之,惟願說之!所以者何?
T09n0264_p0139c05:是會無數百千萬億阿僧祇眾生,曾見諸佛,
T09n0264_p0139c06:諸根猛利智慧明了,聞佛所說則能敬信。」
爾
T09n0264_p0139c07:時舍利弗,欲重宣此義,而說偈言:
T09n0264_p0139c08:T09n0264_p0139c10:佛復止舍利弗:「若說是事,一切世間天、人、阿
T09n0264_p0139c11:脩羅,皆當驚疑,增上慢比丘將墜於大坑。」
爾
T09n0264_p0139c12:時世尊,重說偈言:
T09n0264_p0139c13:T09n0264_p0139c15:爾時舍利弗重白佛言:「世尊!惟願說之,惟願
T09n0264_p0139c16:說之!今此會中如我等比,百千萬億世世已
T09n0264_p0139c17:曾從佛受化,如此人等必能敬信,長夜安隱
T09n0264_p0139c18:多所饒益。」
爾時舍利弗,欲重宣此義,而說偈

T09n0264_p0140a02:夷五千人等,即從座起,禮佛而退。所以者何?
T09n0264_p0140a03:此輩罪根深重,及增上慢,未得謂得,未證謂
T09n0264_p0140a04:證,有如此失,是以不住。世尊默然而不制止。
T09n0264_p0140a05:爾時佛告舍利弗:「我今此眾,無復枝葉,純有
T09n0264_p0140a06:貞實。舍利弗!如是增上慢人,退亦佳矣!
T09n0264_p0140a07:汝今善聽,當為汝說。」
舍利弗言:「唯然,世尊!願
T09n0264_p0140a08:樂欲聞。」
佛告舍利弗:「如是妙法,諸佛如來時
T09n0264_p0140a09:乃說之,如優曇鉢華時一現耳。舍利弗!汝等
T09n0264_p0140a10:當信,佛之所說言不虛妄。舍利弗!諸佛隨宜
T09n0264_p0140a11:說法,意趣難解。所以者何?我以無數方便,種
T09n0264_p0140a12:種因緣、譬喻言辭,演說諸法,是法非思量、分
T09n0264_p0140a13:別之所能解,[1]惟有諸佛乃能知之。所以者
T09n0264_p0140a14:何?諸佛世尊,惟以一大事因緣故出現於世。
T09n0264_p0140a15:舍利弗!云何名諸佛世尊惟以一大事因緣
T09n0264_p0140a16:故出現於世?諸佛世尊,欲令眾生開佛知見
T09n0264_p0140a17:使得清淨故,出現於世;欲示眾生[2]佛知見
T09n0264_p0140a18:故,出現於世;欲令眾生悟佛知見故,出現於
T09n0264_p0140a19:世;欲令眾生入佛知見道故,出現於世。舍
T09n0264_p0140a20:利弗!是為諸佛以一大事因緣故出現於世。」
T09n0264_p0140a21:佛告舍利弗:「諸佛如來,但教化菩薩,諸有
T09n0264_p0140a22:所作常為一事,惟以佛之知見示悟眾生。舍
T09n0264_p0140a23:利弗!如來但以一佛乘故,為眾生說法,無有
T09n0264_p0140a24:餘乘若二若三。舍利弗!一切十方諸佛,法亦
T09n0264_p0140a25:如是。舍利弗!過去諸佛,以無量無數方便,
T09n0264_p0140a26:種種因緣、譬喻言辭,而為眾生演說諸法,是
T09n0264_p0140a27:法皆為一佛乘故,是諸眾生,從諸佛聞法究
T09n0264_p0140a28:竟皆得一切種智。舍利弗!未來諸佛當出於
T09n0264_p0140a29:世,亦以無量無數方便,種種因緣、譬喻言辭,
T09n0264_p0140b01:而為眾生演說諸法,是法皆為一佛乘故,是
T09n0264_p0140b02:諸眾生從佛聞法,究竟皆得一切種智。舍利

T09n0264_p0140b08:但教化菩薩,欲以佛之知見示眾生故,欲以
T09n0264_p0140b09:佛之知見悟眾生故,欲令眾生入佛知見道
T09n0264_p0140b10:故。舍利弗!我今亦復如是,知諸眾生有種種
T09n0264_p0140b11:欲深心所著,隨其本性,以種種因緣、譬喻言
T09n0264_p0140b12:辭,方便力[3]故而為說法。舍利弗!如此皆
T09n0264_p0140b13:為得一佛乘一切種智故。舍利弗!十方世界
T09n0264_p0140b14:中尚無二乘,何況有三。
「舍利弗!諸佛出於五
T09n0264_p0140b15:濁惡世,所謂劫濁、煩惱濁、眾生濁、見濁、命濁,
T09n0264_p0140b16:如是,舍利弗!劫濁亂時,眾生垢重,慳貪、嫉妬,
T09n0264_p0140b17:成就諸不善根故,諸佛以方便力,於一佛乘
T09n0264_p0140b18:分別說三。舍利弗!若我弟子,自謂阿羅漢、
T09n0264_p0140b19:辟支佛者,不聞不知諸佛如來但教化菩薩
T09n0264_p0140b20:事,此非佛弟子,非阿羅漢,非辟支佛。又舍利
T09n0264_p0140b21:弗!是諸比丘、比丘尼,自謂已得阿羅漢,是最
T09n0264_p0140b22:後身究竟涅槃,便不復志求阿耨多羅三藐
T09n0264_p0140b23:三菩提,當知此輩,皆是增上慢人。所以者何?
T09n0264_p0140b24:若有比丘實得阿羅漢,若不信此法,無有是
T09n0264_p0140b25:處,除佛滅度後現前無佛。所以者何?佛滅
T09n0264_p0140b26:度後,如是等經受持、讀誦、解其義者,是人難
T09n0264_p0140b27:得,若遇餘佛,於此法中便得決了。舍利弗!汝
T09n0264_p0140b28:等當一心信解,受持佛語。諸佛如來言無虛
T09n0264_p0140b29:妄,無有餘乘,惟一佛乘。」
爾時世尊,欲重宣此
